Really helpful service. I (or rather my children) were not very decisive over which shoes to buy but Dan was super at giving us options. Couldn’t have hoped for better service.

Excellent service from Luke today. My daughter is fully kited out for her DofE!

Luke was very helpful and patient while helping me choose a pair of walking shoes. I have to wear arch support insoles which makes finding shoes to fit difficult but he suggestions for which makes of shoe might be most suitable and was patient while I tried and retried shoes with my insoles. Thankyou for your help.

Daisy was really helpful and friendly. She catered to my niche requirements for a pair of walking boots and was knowledgeable about the different options. She brought be several different ones to try on and was patient while I made a decision. Her colleague also gave me some tips and useful info using his own experience of the same boots. I would definitely recommend shopping here.

We visited Millets in St. Peter Port today. Excellent service by Dan. Both attendants were very helpful.

My wife purchased Peter Storm trainers in January, they claim to have traction and grip etc. They could not be more slippery on wet stone pavement or wet tiles, to the point where she obviously feels unstable when walking anywhere in the wet, which rules out winter walks! The two guys in the Guernsey store were actively unhelpful and refused to give a refund, reluctantly giving a £65.00 credit note, which means they still have our money at a store we are reluctant to return to! These trainers are not fit for purpose in wet conditions! That constitutes a fault! Discussions with the store and emails to Peter Storm/ Millets have proved unhelpful, despite the UK website's detailed account of them having such good returns policy. Faith in this store needs to be restored!

I have now tried to respond the the email given by Millets, it doesn't work, constant mail delivery failure. There is no other way to contact Millets as their main email comes back with a comment stating 'this email is no longer managed'. One is then directed to a contact page that has zero relevance to any of the issues involved and where one has to put in order numbers that I have never had! What a hopeless, uninterested company!

Was able to purchase a good pair of Brasher shoes for my forthcoming hols, Dan was really helpful, going through the postives of the design and strengths of the shoe. Excellent purchase!?

Luke was extremely helpful in helping me find some waterproof walking boots. Nothing was too much trouble and I left the shop with a successful purchase. Always great customer service at Millets.
