The coat I bought online was too small so visited the local shop and the staff were very helpful as usual to find an alternative for me

Bought my Berghaus boots at Newark…
Bought my Berghaus boots at Newark shop. Didn't have my size but tried on various others with the very helpful girl at the shop. In the end had to order a pair at no extra cost and have them sent to my house. Very efficient and helpful staff. Boots have rubbed at the back of my heel but otherwise seem to be waterproof which my other goretex Berghaus were not, after walking my dogs in them daily for a few months. Service excellent, boots which were over £100, hopefully will be as good once I get them bedded in.

Great service and it was almost 5 stars…
Great service and it was almost 5 stars but for the errors in the emails regarding delivery. The delivery company wasn't correctly identified and the link to the delivery web site didn't work. It was actually delivered by DHL which delivered 2 hours prior to the notified time and dropped it on the doorstep and ran! The staff in store were friendly and helpful. The walking trousers were comfortable but the pockets are a little small.

These shsoes were made for walking!
I've been a wearer of Merrell Chameleon walking shoes for many years, but my third pair recently began letting in water through the well-worn heels - time for some new ones! I searched many websites looking for the best price for a replacement pair. After an hour of looking I hit gold with Milletts. Exactly the shoes I was looking for, and at a price significantly lower than competitors. I ordered the shoes and waited for their arrival. This was the only disappointment...Hermes, the parcel company, took three days to get them to me; at no time could I track their journey, ensuring I was home to take delivery. Now looking forward to giving the new shoes an outing...once the Covid regs. allow me to leave home!!!

Millets customer service in the Newark store is appalling. Extremely rude shop assistant who refused to refund an item & had zero people skills. I will never shop from Millets again. Terrible experience. Poor organisation in their store. Very unpleasant staff.
