Millets - St Albans Avis 

Ass 2/9. I didn’t get the assistants name but he helped me get some sandals , he was very polite and patient and friendly. A credit to the store

We were served by Fiona, very attentive and hands on. She explained which waterproof boots were available, patient and helpful. At the very end of our visit, we were served by a young gentleman and the manager too. Our daughter loved the boots. I highly recommend this store, excellent service and very organised too.

Was helped by a patient Max: I knew what I wanted but that involved a lot of trying on shoes!
I did pass on my thanks to the store as his shift had ended by the time I returned to actually buy a pair!

Went to buy boots for DofE and other bits for my son. The service was helpful and Max, the lad that served us was polite and very helpful. Chap behind the counter was chatty, jolly and the whole experience was great - what’s not to love.

Very friendly, straight to the point and no hard sell. Service with a smile, Soph at the St Albans branch was professional, helpful and approachable.

Served by Fiona (St Albans). Polite and friendly. Fiona approached me to ask if I needed assistance at the boot section. Questions that she couldn’t answer, she was happy to go and ask or look it up.
I would add that all three staff were friendly which was a good experience.
(Bought Brasher country Walker boots).

My daughter and I went into Millets to buy some boots for DofE and the young lady who helped us was so polite, gave excellent advice & went above and beyond.

Layout of store easy to navigate

I hadn’t bought a pair of walking boots for many years and didn’t have a clue which type to get. Ben talked me through all the different types, materials and uses of the various boots there were to choose from. He did it in such a kind, matter of fact way without any patronage. He also took a lot of time with me so I could select the right boots. The staff were very polite, the choice of boots was excellent and it helped that many of them were on sale!

Went to this millets back in November 2023 and was my first time in an outdoor shop and buying trekking boots. I was served by max who was brilliant, very patient, advising me on the different models, socks and waterproof jackets. Very reasonably priced and all staff were so friendly and patient while I tried different pair on. I would definitely shop here again!

A very helpful and friendly shop assistant.I had my heart set on a particular jacket but they didn't have it in my size.He called another branch to check if it was in stock there and asked for it to be keep for me there.A very pleasant shopping experience.

Manager and staff is the best.Go out of there way to help even with anything.

Not very friendly . Even though I had my receipt for the refund and had paid by apple pay contactless she insisted on seeing the physical card number !!! I even showed her the transaction on my bank account.
Never experienced anything like it.
She had an awful attitude.
Definitely won’t ever go back into that Branch again.

We were served by Rob and a lovely lady at the till. Both were so friendly, knew the product information and were able to give constructive advice about the waterproofs and shoes we bought. Left the shop feeling really happy with what we had bought. I was really impressed with the whole experience.

We came into the store needing advice to buy waterproof hiking shoes and Ben was so attentive and knowledgeable with waterproof shoes. I highly recommend Ben for great customer service and my husband and I confidently walked away with 2 great pair of waterproof hiking shoes. Thanks to Ben we will definitely come back
