I needed a new pair of walking boots and so I asked Phoenix for some help. Phoenix asked me questions about what sort of use the boots would have and she very patiently let me try on several pairs to find the best fit. I am a very happy customer

Popped into the store to get some advice about a broken tent pole a very kind gentleman named Simone managed to repair the pole for me. Such friendly and helpful staff so glad we have a store in town

I needed camping and trekking gear- the help I got from Andy and Simon was tremendous! Not a single blister on a 100km trek due to well fitting boots and socks. Warm nights with an OEX sleeping bag and mattress, and great advice on how to keep warm. OEX raincoat was fabulous too- really recommend.

Both Pam and Chris were super helpful with trekking boots, ruck sack, and best fit, best care for safe travels. It is so beneficial to have face to face and experienced help.

We had a damaged berghaus porch and had been advised by the online customer support centre to take the item to our local store for assessment. Andy assisted us and despite some concerns over the advice we had previously been given resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Both Simon & Ben were fantastic when we needed to kit my daughter out for her Bronze DofE last year. They helped us with everything, which was fantastic as a family who knew nothing! So incredibly grateful. We recommended several of daughter’s friends go there too and they had the same brilliant service! Unsure of the exact date of our visit now (better late than never!)

Simon in uckfield has helped me out on two occasions with purchasing camping gear (first time camper). He's been extremely knowledgeable and helpful, not at all pushy re sales, and very patient with my wild children in tow! Would highly recommend buying from millets uckfield to get excellent customer service.

We returned to Uckfield Millets because Simon was so knowledgeable and helpful. Simon was day off so a young lady Phoenix served me. She was as good as Simon in knowledge and being helpful. She explained how water repellency was rated and ensured that my new boots had enough room when my feet were hot during a day's walk.
Well done Phoenix you should be rightfully proud of you customer care.

Today I had the pleasure of dealing with two very kind employees, Issac and Simon. They were extremely helpful, easy to talk to and were really helpful at helping me pick some boots out for a mountain I am going to be climbing in Wales in the next week. Lovely atmosphere, extremely helpful employees, and I highly recommend the shop!

Old school service from the very helpful Phoenix. My daughter and I went into the UCKFIELD store as she’s doing her DofE - Phoenix, who has done her Bronze and Silver and doing her Gold answered all our questions (and some we didn’t have), we came out of there knowing what we needed to and enjoying the Millets DofE discount. If your child is doing DofE and you need some kit help, I couldn’t recommend Phoenix highly enough 👍🏻 well done to Millets for employing, and retaining quality staff 💪🏻

My daughter and I were helped by a Simon today who was the most experienced adventure shop employee I’ve ever come across. ( We’ve bought a lot of hiking shoes/ camping and hiking equipment over the years for our 4 daughters too). He fitted the perfect boot with the minimum of fuss and enough explanation to empower us for future purchasing, care of feet and boots, lacing them etc. I watched him help another gentleman too who expressed how rare and brilliant it was to have so much trust in the person selling the boots. I can’t commend him highly enough. What an asset he is to Millets in Uckfield. Thank you Simon. It was a pleasure to meet you.
