I walked in knowing i wanted something that could walk the dog in on a British summers day, but not sure on what by choices were. The gentleman in the shop asked if I needed any help, I told him what i needed, he then talked and showed me what they was in the shop and explained them. I left with a soft shell jacket which I am very happy with. I felt that i had great service and he care that I left with the right choice.

Never been in the shop until today, found exactly what I wanted at a great price. Staff were welcoming and friendly, will definitely be back.

Visited Millets to buy some trainers. Served by a young man who was very knowledgeable about a range of shoes explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each pair. I ended up buying a pair which will meet my needs for a very good price. I have used Millets in Whitehaven many times in the past and the service has always been good. Stodgy was no different.

Came to walk up Sca Fell Pike at midnight for charity and forgot my boots!! Visit to Millets solved that and ended up buying a pair of very comfortable Peter Storms from a great choice of brands. They did the job nicely and we arrived at the summit in swirling winds and rain in the early hours - no sign of the hoped for sunrise!! What made the visit to the store special was the immediate rapport with the manageress and the attention she showed to us, especially Tyson the dog! Natural friendliness and excellent service!!! Thank you

Very knowledgeable and patient whilst I finally decided on a pair of hi-tec shoes. This was my second visit as I needed more time to try on and bring my insoles. These shoes are so comfortable I didn't even need my insoles! Thank you so much.

The team at Millets were so helpful. I’m autistic and have sensory issues with clothes. The staff patiently walked me through my options and helped me find the right coat so I can be comfortable, even without breaking the bank! If not for this experience, I’d have gone on holiday in t-shirts and probably come home with the flu.

staff were amazing and very helpful with great knowledge of there products my dog tyson loved them as much as we did the waterproof trousers we got for our charity climb was a god send would go back there next time am around whitehaven and to let you guys know we completed the climb in the poor weather thanks again for the help off you guys

Visited the store whilst in Whitehaven as I always seem to pick up some great bargains, not only outdoor gear but some high end fashion items. staff are always friendly even treating my dog to the odd biscuit.

Great service, should have got the young dark haired guys name but he was very helpful.
