I have been coming to this shop for years. The service just doesn’t feel as good and the level of care seems to have changed over time as a customer. On a couple of occasions I’ve turned up only to find it shut, which is quite frustrating and not what you’d expect.
That said, there are still some good deals to be found, which is a positive.

Dan helped me with picking a real good pair out. He let me try on a few pairs & bosh around the shop in them haha
Got a pair of Merrel’sin the end (on sale)-so comfy & really light compared to my other boots. So defo appreciated the help in choosing them, thanks again Dan 👍🏻
Also been on a walk with them, lots of puddles/mud etc & came home with dry feet woo hoo!! Super happy 😉

A fantastic customer experience today courtesy of Shaun, Worthing's store manager. Good advice on a pair of hiking shoes and patient throughout my time of trying on a few. I've engaged with Shaun a few times in store in recent months; always friendly, polite, and positive.

I went into Millets just to browse hiking boots, but the high-quality products and fantastic service convinced me to buy.

Staff member Dan provided exceptional help. When the first boot I tried was too heavy, he asked about the terrain I'd be hiking (hilly) and expertly recommended a lighter Merrell boot with arch support. The fit was incredible, it felt like walking on clouds!

Yesterday I went into Worthing Milletts to buy a rechargeable head torch. The staff were very helpful and showed me all the ⅘options. I am very happy with my choice, but as there were no instructions I could not find the charging point. I popped into the shop today and the staff were very kind and helpful. I can now recharge the head touch. I visit the store often and all the staff are always helpful.

I was looking for a man’s base layer - I couldn’t locate correct colour and size. Dan was brilliant - he went down to the store room to find the product for me. He did do warmly and with a great helpful attitude. I’m really pleased with my experience today.

Popped in after work to look for some boots for an upcoming trip. Damon was super helpful and very enthusiastic! Came away with a pair of boots, some merino wool socks, some gloves and a pair of hand warmers. I also looked at a jacket and Damon showed me what else was available online. Would highly recommend this store.
