MT Finance Avis 

Have been working with MT Finance for a few years and I have to say really impressed with the way they handled a recent urgent auction purchase that needed to be completed in 6 days! Jack and Chloe worked together as a team and managed to get the bridge completed within 6 days.
One of our most trusted lender for sure!

Jack and Lucy were both fantastic from start to finish. They provided updates daily to keep everyone updated with the application and completed the bridging loan for us within 4 weeks.

I will definitely use MTF again, great service.

My experience was not good with this company. I borrowed over £150,000, and when it came to pay the money back plus the interest, it was a nightmare. In fairness, I should have paid the money back through a solicitor but I paid it directly to them, which was my mistake. The check that they put me through to substantiate proof of funds was a nightmare I would not want my enemies to go through. They had charges of 2 of my homes which they were very slow to remove even though I had paid the money back in full plus the interest. AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE!!!

I've had the pleasure of dealing with MT Finance on a number of occassions and can't recommend them highly enough. Prompt, efficient, professional and experts in what they do. Great products, great team and great service. I look forward to working with you again.

Took huge fees and interest for a couple of years and when the situation got a little tough they continued to turn the screw despite being in a position of absolute safety in terms of security.

Great lender- particularly Emily Hatt and Chris Brock, for their invaluable support in preventing the repossession of a home belonging to one of our elderly clients.

With a court hearing looming just 10 days away, MT Finance spared no effort in swiftly resolving the mortgage issue, ultimately ensuring that the client retained their cherished family residence. The client is overjoyed with the outcome.

Their process is very long winded and tbh very pedantic to the point we nearly withdrew. They cost us a lot of time especially with their solicitors who quite frankly were over zealous to be polite.
We would never use them again and would not recommend their services unless you have time to spare and are able to produce numerous documents from years ago! It was a very exhausting experience.

I had a Bridging loan that was not redeemed until a few weeks after the redemption date.

The staff did not inform me in the months,weeks and days leading up to redemption that unless I took an extension I would be penalised a huge daily interest charge and very high admin fees. A senior member of staff also informed my broker that there would be no penalty interest or charges as long as the new mortgage agreement was with them prior to the deadline.

I was only given a redemption statement 6 days after redemption to find out to my horror I'd been charged £2300 in penalty interest and £700 in admin charges!!

On taking up a formal complaint I was shut down due to it being a non regulated loan and even tricked into dropping my SAR case by being asked if I accepted a better offer of the £250 compensation offered for my £3000 loss!!! would I drop my SAR case. I of course agreed to then be told that by agreeing I lost my right to an SAR on that basis.

Contractually I owed those funds however financial companies have a moral responsibility to remind clients of their obligations.

I was informed by a number of financial institutions , my broker and a financial solicitor that morally I had been treated unfairly with regard to the loss of those funds and that if the loan had been regulated it was almost definte the regulator would demand repayment of those £3000 funds to me.

The Head Compliance Officer who was understanding when initially listening to my complaint however played me into not providing the SAR as detailed above and became quite unsavory when acting upon his directors instructions. A number of thevstaff believed I was unfairly treated however closed ranks to protect their own positions I was left with a loss I could not afford.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Been using MTF for over 13 years now and have always found them fast, professional and deliver every time.

I applied for a bridging loan from mt finance, process is very slow, originally started legal in Oct 2022, now Feb 23 and it’s no further ahead, just huge fees as you have to pay there solicitor costs as well, there solicitor keeps asking questions after question. I would not use this company again.

Quick, knowledgeable and keen to do business. One of the most pleasant Bridging experiences I have had in a long time. Can not fault any part of the process, everyone knows what they are doing and working towards the same goal.
