First, the positive. Customer Service is quick to respond and remedy the situation. When I informed Natalie Diamonds of the problem, they quickly sent an email with the return label and commercial invoice necessary to send the ring back to Israel.

Yes, you read right...this company is not in Florida as the About Us page implies. The marketing company is in Florida, but the actual manufacturer is in Israel.

I received my order about two weeks after I ordered - not bad for an international shipment and custom ring. When I received the ring, it was in a nice box that lights up when the lid is opened. Nice. It also came with a certificate from UGI (questionable company) and a laminated receipt (weird, but ok). The ring looked pretty but if you've seen a real diamond, you'll notice the difference quickly - it just didn't look right. I received the ring Dec 22 and I was planning on proposing Dec 24. So, on the 23rd, I took the ring to four different stores: Jared, Robbins Brothers, Ben Bridge and Raiman Rocks and all confirmed via electronic, visual and microscope test that the stones - all the stones, not just the center stone, were all Moissanite and not real earth mined diamonds like their web page states or even their customer service states when I posed the question to them directly via their chat. Needless to say, I didn't propose - I wasn't about to with a fake diamond ring that I was going to return. Absolutely ruined the moment for me/us.

Once Natalie Diamonds received the returned ring, they tested and confirmed to me via email that there was an issue with the center stone. They offered to replace the center stone with something more expensive, but at this point, my trust was blown. They refunded my money back.

If you read the reviews on Trustpilot and iVouch, you'll see several reviews stating the same experience I had. Proceed with caution but there's no way I would ever buy anything from Natalie Diamonds. Not sure on the stability of this company but to deal with an international company with such a high cost item, made me really nervous. I was just really happy to get my money back.

We were a bit nervous ordering an engagement ring on line and noted a few bad reviews that gave us pause. My ring is a lovely 1.25 ct round VS2 clarity and I had a trusted local jeweler verify its authenticity as a diamond using his diamond tester. Since moisannites can register as diamonds on the diamond tester, he also used a separate moisannite tester to eliminate the possiblity it was a moisannite. He did say the G color was a lower grade - I - in his estimation but everything else was good - cut and clarity. I notice a faint color in certain light but its minimal so I am very happy with the diamond's beauty and excellent value for the price we paid. Thank you Natalie Diamonds!

If you are considering this company for an online diamond purchase. PLEASE listen to the reviews and avoid. The "5 star" reviews never seem to mention anyone having the rings appraised independently. I can only assume the entire business model is built around selling fake gems to those who wont bother having an independent appraisal completed simply and accept the authenticity of the diamonds with out inspection.

I too was skeptical after reading several reviews but got sucked into their excellent marketing trap and how they promote the rinds online and the "perceived" value of the deal vs traditional store buying costs. I went ahead and rolled the dice... bad decision.

Yep.... you guessed it, I had the ring independently inspected twice, both very reputable jewelers told me that is was not a natural diamond and some type of synthetic, but couldn't even confirm if moissanite.

I subsequently reached out to customer service with some choice words and promise to pursue with BBB and to their credit, I was quickly emailed the return labels and a full refund was processed quickly minus a minimal oversees charge of some sort??

Given so little objection to the refund process and the fact that mine was issued before the ring could have possibly reached Israel, I must assume this happens alot more than the reviews suggest.

So buyer, beware! if you think you will be the exception as I thought, please commit in advance to having your ring independently inspected. Hopefully they might just send you what you ordered and paid for.... if not- you were warned by several who proceeded you.
AS for ND- stop this charade... and stop blaming on your suppliers. This will catch up to you. Run a legit business or know that you will get caught by those who matter eventually.
