The search facility worked well and I was impressed by the speed of the search. The process was straightforward too. The only minor grumble was that the image showed the Union Flag (which I wanted) but the literals underneath it were GB whereas I wanted UK in order to use my vehicle abroad. The plates did arrive with the UK literals on them.

I enquired about registration number…
I enquired about registration number R171 by phone 2 weeks ago was told the price which l agreed l would pay l was told by the person l spoke to he would come back to me No response !
I called again spoke to somebody else who said he speak to the person l originally spoke with l have heard nothing sent email enquire 24 hours ago and No response !!

You’re absolutely right to expect a prompt follow-up after your enquiry and subsequent call. On this occasion, we fell short, and I apologise for the lack of communication.
We were awaiting confirmation from one of our trade suppliers regarding the availability of the registration (R 171), which has since been confirmed as unavailable. However, we should have kept you updated during this time rather than leaving you without any response, and I completely understand your frustration.
We’ve reviewed this internally with the team to ensure we communicate more proactively with customers while awaiting supplier responses.
