Scam Alert: Nedbank's Lax Security Puts Me at Risk
I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with Nedbank's handling of my account. It appears that Payflex has drained my account without my knowledge or consent, and Nedbank's lack of security measures has enabled this scam.
Here's what happened: money was transferred from my account to Payflex without me receiving a single SMS alert. I only discovered the unauthorized transaction when I logged into my Nedbank app. It's alarming that Nedbank's systems allowed this to happen without notifying me.
I'm concerned that Nedbank is exposing its clients to scammers and fraudsters. How can this happen without any checks or balances? I demand answers and immediate action to prevent this from happening to others.
Nedbank, it's time to take responsibility and protect your clients' hard-earned money. Fix your security loopholes and inform your customers about potential risks.
*UPDATE*: I've reported this incident to Nedbank's fraud department, but I know they won't help.Im very frustrated
