Over the years, we’ve been trying to come up with the best way to say, “Hello, we’re Neptune, and this is who we are.” It’s easy to learn that we’re an interiors brand – our stores, and our website will tell you that in no time. But while our designs are a huge part of who we are, ‘the why’ and ‘the how’ almost matter more than ‘the what’. It’s easy to tell you what we do, it’s harder to explain why. That’s where our philosophy – a different perspective – comes in. Three words that sum up our entire reason for being.

We’re Neptune.

We do what we do because we believe our designs can make your life that little bit happier, easier and better.

We do that with honesty, rigour and kindness, using the best materials, the most trustworthy of techniques, surrounded by people who genuinely care about creating things that are timeless. And we always lead with heart.

We’re a British-born and raised interiors and lifestyle brand who design and make furniture, lighting and accessories for your whole home.

A 4.5 star review (because there’s always room for improvement). The Chesham team have been largely great from design through to fitting. A couple of miscommunications along the way resulted in additional surprise charges (which we ended up not opting for) or missing items but this was rectified quickly. Fiona designed the kitchen wonderfully and really listened and understood our needs. A huge shout out to Anthony Mann though who is an incredibly talented carpenter who fitted the kitchen. Meticulous. Overall really pleased with the result and absolutely loving my new favourite space.

Locating stocks …Dartmouth Mast Lights

I had telephoned several stores trying to locate 2 Dartmouth garden lights .. as they were not being replaced by Neptune …the last store was Chesham. Patsy went over and above to check their stock and found they had them. I had to arrange collection, being miles away and she made the suggestions and that all
went smoothly. Thank you Patsy .
Also although not Chesham a thank you as well to Theresa in Chester who had the first 2 Dartmouth lights and again went over and above to tell me how I might find the remainder. Thank you all.

Popped into Neptune Chesham for an extra Chichester handle. Such amazing service the lady who helped us was simply great. We had a lovely chat about all things Cotswolds. Just wanted to say Thank you

Absolutely wonderful experience at this…

I recently ordered 4 stock barstools

I recently ordered 4 stock barstools, a very last minute purchase which I needed ASAP. I was helped by Emily at the Chesham store, who went above and beyond to make this happen for me, the service was exemplary. Emily was charmingly cheerful and helpful.

Misleading promotional headlines!

When running a promotion with the headline £20 off when you spend £50 it's very misleading when the terms and conditions are in minuscule writing and the products excluded lack transparency. If a company is going to email me as a regular customer I would appreciate honesty rather than misleading headlines! I wouldn't have visited the store if the promotion had not been so misleading.

Poor quality textiles and customer care

​I am a long-standing customer of Neptune, but my recent experience with the Neptune store in Chesham has been incredibly disappointing.

​I purchased a wool throw (original RRP £320) which has bobbled and pilled so severely within 8 months of normal use that it is now unsightly. When I reached out to the store, I was told that this is a "natural characteristic" of the wool. More concerningly, the store leader stated they wouldn't recommend a replacement because the same thing would likely happen again—effectively admitting the product is not durable.

​Despite this admission and the clear failure of a premium item well within its first year, Neptune has refused to offer a refund, exchange, or even a credit note, hiding behind "sale item" policies that do not override consumer rights for faulty goods.
​I expected much higher standards of both craftsmanship and customer care from a brand like Neptune. I would advise others to be very cautious when purchasing their textiles.

Fantastic service from Chesham team

Fantastic service over several months from Laura and Patsy in the Chesham store. Laura spent time to help me with room design, listening to the needs of our family and making great suggestions on colours, product and textures. We are delighted with the end result in the rooms we have done so far. Outstanding customer service in store and followed through right to the multiple deliveries of products where the delivery teams have been excellent in all cases.

Laura was extremely helpful as we…

Laura was extremely helpful as we thinking of buying a dining table. She also arranged for delivery to be made to our holiday home even though we were not present, which really helped us, and then sent photos through with the table in situ.

It is always a pleasure visiting the store which is well laid out, with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
