Many reviews have noted high quality installation, quiet running of the Sanden heat pump unit, reliable hot water and so on. Ben was great at handling queries we had just after installation, and again with over-the-phone trouble-shooting nearly 2 years after installation. That gives me some confidence that if anything went wrong, we would get good service.

Professional Installation and very impressed with the efficiency of the system

I was given full details of the working of the system and then notified about when it would be installed. Everything happened like clockwork during the installation and now I have wonderful hot water whenever I need it. Why can't all my life be this easy?!

Ben and his team are amazing. Absolutely clear and useful information from Ben from my first contact with him, without the hard sell I had experienced from many other suppliers. Now that I have the system successfully installed in our new home I can understand why, the quality speaks for itself, amazing hot water!

The plumbing team arrived on-time, and were professional and friendly. They did a pretty amazing job, and were adaptable and consultative about some site specific challenges that popped up on the day. Same feedback about the electrician that came to activate the system when the plumbers were done, polite, professional and did an amazing job. We were cleaning the house on the install day, and he went so far as to walk the long way around to avoid a freshly mopped floor. It may seem a small thing but it spoke volumes about the fella.

Every interaction I have had with NewGen has been fabulous, from initial inquiry to administration related invoice elements. I cannot rate them highly enough as a supplier, and the Sanden brand Heat Pump system they recommended for us is spectacular, plenty of delightfully hot water for a household of 4 adults.

We are very happy with NewGen Solar. The new heat pump hot water system is working very well, using far less daily KW hrs than the old electric element heater. The consultation and installation process was very good. Based on our personal experience, we recommend NewGen Solar.

After hearing of and researching Sanden heat pump hot water systems, we contacted NewGen and within a week had the system up and running. Installation only took four hours on the day that it was promised and with minimal interruption to our normal day. Gary and Russell did a great job and Ben followed through with all details as promised.
We are already saving money on the new system compared to the old off-peak electric system that was pulled out. The new system should pay for itself well within the warranty period.

We recently had Ben and the crew at NewGen Solar, install a Sanden Heat Pump HWS to replace our 20yr old storage system.

Ben replied to my email inquiry promptly & recommended the Standen heat pump over my option Stieibel Eltron with electric boost; the latter was thought to suit the installation better as I had not considered wall hanging the Standen pump.
The installation is very neat and with the 315 litre stainless steel tank, provides more than enough water for the 3 of us; albeit I am still getting use to the cooler water at the kitchen due to the regulatory tempering valve.
I am running the unit off peak as a consumer controlled load with interval metering. I have not needed to operate the time clock by-pass switch for additional heating.
This heat pump is amazingly quiet!
Have a 3.8kW PV system on the premium feed in tariff, thus the off peak operation.
Previous HWS was a 21 year old Rheem 4.8kW twin element 420 litre.

NewGen Solar was helpful and professional at each phase. Installation was carried out within two days of accepting the quote. After sales service has been good with a small temperature issue addressed by phone on the day it was advised.

From my first phone contact with NewGen Solar every aspect of their dealing with me as a client was everything that one could hope for. The technician arrived as arranged and provided a speedy solution to my hot water problem.

The best, most efficient, and cost effective hot water system available in Australia today.... I was seriously looking at a battery for mainly the hot water, but at $16,000, that's expensive water. My 250L system pulls 0.040KW when it kicks in, compared to 3, or even 4.00KW on my old conventional electric system. Sanden claim an 80% savings on consumption, that number has to be spot on by my metering at any rate.
So, my next electricity bill should be interesting. Also, not to be ignored is the sound level. 37 decibles is sod all. With my ear next to the fan, I could barely hear it running. Finally, the installation itself. Great crew, and bloody neat workmanship. My tip is, do'nt waste your time on the plethora of units out there, just focus on what model of Sanden suits best.

Ben from NewGen was very knowledgeable. We discussed the options for a new hot water system. He provided great information on the various options and sent a quote within a couple of hours from initial call.
I said I would need time to think about it. NewGen weren't pushy to get my business they just advised to call if I needed any more information.
It took me a week to decide that I wanted to go ahead with the Sandel Hot water service. I called Ben and within 2 days it was installed and up and running within 30 minutes.
It took 2 days from looking at my off peak power meter ( old spinning one) to see that I was using less power.
Its been a week now and from my calculations I am using around 70-80% less power to heat my water.
