Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience – I would not recommend this company.
The flyscreen installation was a complete disappointment. The workmanship was poor and resulted in damage to multiple areas of our newly finished extension, including the wallpaper, flooring, skirting, door seals and surrounding finishes. After investing time and money into getting our extension finished, it is incredibly frustrating to be left dealing with damage caused by an installation that should have been carried out with care and professionalism.
What has made the situation even worse is the lack of accountability and communication afterwards. I raised the issues, explained the damage and tried to reach a reasonable solution. I was advised to obtain a quote for the repairs, with the understanding that the cost would be covered. I did exactly that, yet when it came to actually agreeing how this would be resolved, the installer simply stopped responding.
I have now sent three WhatsApp messages about the outstanding issue, all of which have been ignored. No response, no update and no attempt to resolve the matter. I should not have to repeatedly chase someone to take responsibility for damage caused during their own work.
The quality of the installation was disappointing enough, but the complete lack of aftercare and professionalism has made the experience significantly worse. A good tradesperson should stand behind their work and deal with problems when they arise, not leave the customer to sort out the consequences and chase endlessly for a response.
I would strongly advise others to think twice before using this company. Based on my experience, the workmanship and the way the situation has been handled afterwards have both fallen well below expectations.
