All good. No problems and quick delivery

Visited the store with hubby to but two waterproof jackets. The assistant couldn’t be more helpful in recommending jackets and proceeding to sell us two jackets. Two days later one of the jackets leaked in in the rain. I phoned the store only to be met with hostility. Thanks was told ‘we never have problems with that brand’ I felt like I was being accused of lying. He said they would have to send the jacket away to be tested and refused to refund or exchange until they had done so. My argument was I bought it from there, they should refund then take it up with the manufacturer. Why should I have to wait for it to be tested. The man then began to shout at me. I ended up so upset that I asked for the manufacturer phone number to deal with them directly myself. They were far better and very apologetic. Gave a full refund and 20% off future purchase from them. I have shopped at outdoor action for many years, I will never shop there again following this experience. Dreadful customer service!!
Reply to manager, yes it is definitely the store on king street blackburn. I bought two keela jackets. One was fine the other leaked. I dealt with keela directly. They issued yourselves with a refund then I rang up and had my money refunded back to my card over the phone as I did not want to return to the store following my experience on the phone.

Tried to buy 2 pairs of "supposedly discounted" Dexshell waterproof socks. Socks showing online as being in stock in the shop. Made a special journey only to discover the assistant couldn't actually located said socks!! Waited nearly 30 mins whilst he searched the store, eventually I emerged with 1 pair. Had to purchase a full price alternative which assistant refused point blank to discount, even though he said the discounted items shouldn't have been advertised online. Not overly impressed hence only a 2 star review.

Great service ordered wrong size changed no probkem

I managed to not complete the checkout process, called to ask where my order was and had a very nice chap call me back with an explanation of my error. Only issue was that I was then too late for the free delivery and had to pay for next day delivery. Perhaps there were too many steps on their purchase pages? When I completed the order correctly, I could see why I missed the final step as it wasn’t the clearest of buttons and they had already issued notice order number so it’s initially appears that you have completed the transaction.

Outdoor Action have been absolutely fantastic when purchasing our tent and mesh vestibule. They keep you informed of delivery and the after care help and information is never too much trouble. Highly recommend buying from them and I certainly will be in future.

Just what i ordeed, delivered on time.

I was looking for a camp bed. I had seen one I liked at a local camping store. So glad I didn't buy it as when I was checking out prices on the web I came across Outdoor Action and found the very same bed was £50 cheaper with free postage. Registration was easy and within minutes I had bought the camp bed. It arrived a couple of days later just as described by OA. On looking through the site, prices are low across the entire range. Spend more than £50 and delivery is free. These are established brands not cheap imitations and are brand new. I am very happy with my first dealings with Outdoor Action. I shall return.
