I like using Patches to organise appointments etc. I find it very easy to use. Much better than phoning the surgery.
However, I feel it would certainly improve the system if you could make requests any time of day, I don’t understand that there are only so many requests allowed per day.
Overall I am very satisfied with the service.

I find the reviews on patches very hard to accept, over last year ive been with several surgeries using patches software and i really feel the system is severely flawed, as you fill it in only to find it gets canceled now whether this is the practice or patches I don't know. No one at patches ever gets in touch or replies when you ask questions.

It's crap would get more use out of a chocolate fire guard most the time caused loads of stress cost me £25 for a letter which was clearly patches fault and a long wait due to messages not working still waiting for a decision maker cost me thousands and debt is piling up because of terrible App and that's not helping my health the stress as made me feel worse.... especially having ADHD , Autism,and depression.....am not a happy chappy endex......

I have been using Patchs Health now for several years. I count myself lucky as I am in an region where the service was rolled out early. It is easy to use, and the technology speeds up the process of consultation. If my GP surgery is full then a nearby surgery with an available appointment will be selected so that I am seen much quicker. I recommend Patchs

It is an efficient way to communicate with my GP and the practice.

I find Patchs very useful and much easier than waiting on the phone or visiting GP surgery. Generally get a response much quicker. More appointments have been added so more chance of getting on. Works for me.

Patch has been very beneficial for me, as it allows me to quickly book appointments for my children when they are unwell, and occasionally for myself when I need to see a GP. It saves a significant amount of time spent waiting on the phone to book appointment with the surgery. The platform is user-friendly, easily accessible, and straightforward to use. Additionally, the response time from the GP practice is generally very prompt.

Overall, it is an excellent system for booking appointments and often helps to directly see the need to escalate situations to A&E.

Truly great practice, lovely staff, compassionate ppl always striving to deliver above and beyond experience when it comes to dealing with people’s health issues and providing wellbeing advice. Gold award from me!

On the rare occasions I need to contact my GP surgery the response has always been excellent, accommodating me as quickly as possible. The online Patches system is very easy to access and navigate which is so important especially for some more elderly people.

I have used Patchs a few times to contact the practice it is quick and easy. responce from practice is quick & clear

I would like to Thank the "Receptionist" (delightful young girl most caring, my apologies for not knowing her name, as she set the ball rolling in the first place greatly to my benefit) and Pip who works at the Civic Medical Centre, Bebington,Wirral CH63.

I entered the building at circa 3.00 pm Monday 19 January 2026 and not only had my Patches application filled in superbly and very quickly by Pip (Patch Administration), but because my pulse was 47 beats a minute, Oxygen 98% on an Oximeter reading.

Pip went out of here way to greatly ease my most frantic worries, by personally asking a Doctor to assess the Oximeter readings, and circa ten minutes after returning home my Patch Request was filled in for me by Pip via her phone call to me ( as I have severe technology issues with being an OAP).

Another most delightful Civic Medical Centre Patch Administrator Carrieann Davis, near instantly after finishing my Patch request with Pip, phoned me to offer a Doctors Appointment with the time of the Doctor's appointment to my preference and choosing.

I was all done and dusted in circa half an hour, from firstly asking the young receptionist to then returning home after being reassured by the receptionist that I would be contacted promptly.

Then phoned by Pip at my home address before I even had the chance to take me coat off to submit my Patch Request on behalf of myself, and then Carrieann to finish off a fine teamwork effort on behalf of three most delightful and friendly Patch Administration NHS workers at the Civic Medical Centre.Bebington,Wirral CH63.

"Well Done" to all concerned at the Civic Medical Centre on "Superb Teamwork" and a most successful outcome for all the parties quoted above Doctor included as well.

I liked the old patches when you can submit requests at any time day or night. I am not very functional in morning so often when i log in patches is closed for requests. However i do a lot of it, request meds, send messages to doctors etc book appointment as when you can
