Ryan never showed up for our phone call. I'm glad though, because it gave me a chance to read a little more about how hard it is to cancel your account because there's no one to get a hold of. Seems to be true, even when you're a prospective customer, you can't get anyone on the phone - you have to request contact through their website contact us form. I also read more about customer experiences with Payability's true costs overall and I don't think that's something I'm interested in.

SCAM ALERT – Overcharged, Ignored, and Now They’ve Placed a Lien on My Amazon Account

I am an accountant with a degree in accounting and 20+ years of experience — numbers are literally my profession. That is exactly why I caught Payability red-handed.

In just two short months with this company, their records showed I had more sales than I had generated all year. Inflated numbers. Fabricated figures. Why? To justify overcharging me and taking money I never owed them.

When I confronted them, they actually admitted there were discrepancies in my account — then had the nerve to blame it on a backend coding glitch “unique to my account.” Right. A glitch that just happened to result in me being overcharged. Numbers don’t lie. People do.

I requested a reconciliation call four times. All four were canceled by Payability. Every excuse was more insulting than the last. I was then completely ignored for over a month — while my money was being held and my bills were piling up.

I finally sent a formal cancellation letter detailing exactly what had happened. Interestingly, they waived the required 30-day notice without hesitation — because they knew they were in the wrong.

Now, months later, they have placed a lien on my Amazon account for $1,700 — money my own records show they owe me. I have been calling, emailing, and leaving voicemails for three straight weeks. Complete silence.

This company is not just poorly run — they are financially dangerous. They have made it impossible for me to pay my bills. The records they kept were so inaccurate and fraudulent that my child could have done a more honest job.

Do NOT sign up with Payability. If they contact you — run. There are legitimate funding companies out there. This is not one of them. They will inflate your numbers, drain your account, and go silent when you try to fight back.

I am actively pursuing every avenue available to resolve this — and I will not stop until this is made right.

I want to be clear — I am not someone who writes bad reviews. This is long overdue and I have exhausted every private option available to me before coming here.

And I’ll tell you exactly what’s going to happen next: someone from Payability — likely Megan or Nicole, the same two who have been ducking and dodging me for months — will respond to this review before they ever return a single one of my emails or voicemails. They’ll post something polished, flip the script, and try to protect whatever image they have left. Don’t believe it. It’s a performance.

Don’t take my word for it — scroll through the other 1-star reviews right here on Trustpilot. You will find a disturbing and consistent pattern: inflated numbers, broken promises, ignored calls, and UCC liens placed on Amazon accounts even after accounts are fully settled. Another reviewer on this very page mentions Nicole by name — the same Nicole who has been dodging me. And Megan Nelson, Director of Customer Experience, somehow finds time to respond to public reviews yet cannot return my calls or emails after three weeks of attempts.

This is not a series of isolated incidents. This is how they operate.

Do a simple Google search on Payability. What you’ll find is alarming. They put on a good show… if you’re into fiction.

Do not sign up with this company. If they call you, RUN.

We want to be clear that Payability does not fabricate or inflate sales data. All advances and fees are based directly on verified marketplace activity. As with any financing product, funds that are advanced are expected to be repaid in accordance with the agreed terms.

In this case, there is an outstanding balance on the account. When repayment obligations are not met, we may pursue standard legal remedies, including securing our position through appropriate channels, as outlined in our agreements.

We also want to clarify that our team, including both Customer Experience and Collections, has made multiple attempts to engage and resolve this matter directly. This has included phone conversations and ongoing correspondence over time.

We understand that disputes can be frustrating, and we remain open to working toward a resolution. We encourage you to reconnect with us directly so we can address this constructively.

Ryan was great, followed up consistently throughout the process and was able to answer all of my questions. Payability will be a great fit for our business!

Unlawful Delay in UCC Termination

I paid off the advance in full, but two years later the UCC filing still hasn’t been removed. Keeping a satisfied UCC in place this long should be a crime.

Slimy Sales Tactics

I was cold called by a Payability sales rep trying to get our business. After some basic questions, it became apparent he was lying to me as he was trying to lead me to believe he was already working with our developers to get set up. Shame on Amazon for giving our info to Payability in the first place and shame on their sales team for their dishonest practices. I'm out.

Payability has been great for me for the time I have used it? this is not a robot or any paid reviewer! I seen all the stuff online that people say that payability is a bad company but actually in realitry they are great I have been able to scale to new heights since using payabilty and I wouldnt be in this situation with out them! Big Shout out to Megan and Chris they are great people and will take good care of you! I recommeded a friend and now he uses it and is sky rocketing as well. dont trust those old reviews and comments. trust these people.

Best onboarding experience ever!

This has got to be the best onboarding that I've ever experienced, while running my business. The representative was responsive. I got a referral from a friend and he replied as soon as he was available, and we have not stopped being in contact from pre-onboarding until I was onboarded and my account was all set up. He answered every questions and I even feel as though we were communicating on the weekend while I was traveling. Had an excellent experience and I would recommend this company to everyone.

Deceptive, lies, scam... The whole trifecta

Received a cold call from them on 3/21 at 1pm pacific. The guy lies and says he's calling from "Amazon Store". I said who? He THEN tells the truth and says he's calling from Payability. I immediately said remove my number. He continues to give his pitch. I repeated to remove my number. He still continues to ignore what I said. Then I got mean, and he retorts with "I'm sorry, it's just that usually businesses prefer to get paid earlier for free".... I said great, don't care, REMOVE MY NUMBER. FYI, this service is NOT free. This is a lie. If he would've just respected my wish to remove my number the FIRST time I asked I wouldn't be here writing this review. Might wanna rethink your strategy.
