I couldn’t recommend the team at Pennington’s (especially Lucie Prothero, Senior Associate, Clinical Negligence) highly enough. In addition to their technical expertise, their considered approach, combination of ambition and realism, together with their superb interpersonal skills are exemplary. The latter is absolutely essential to their work with clients - like me - who are rebuilding their lives after having been traumatised by preventable bereavement of loved ones, caused by medical negligence or incompetence.

I was with Penningtons, dealing with for the most part with Andrew Clayton, unfortunately he left before settlement, my claim was taken over by Aaron Mcleod who was bang up to date with history of said claim and settled it within weeks. Very impressed great service throughout.

Woefully inadequate. Penningtons were employed through insurance cover so thankfully we were not paying directly for their 'advice and expertise' which amounted to taking a load of money, writing one letter and then saying they could do no more.
In hindsight I should have just dealt with it all myself. Picking up the pieces from their tragic handling, I re-engaged with the other side and ended up with a payout where Penningtons said it wasn't possible. My advice is to avoid them if you want any potential positive outcome.

Laura and Phillipa worked on my case. They have been extremely professional throughout the process, very knowledge on the specific details, have given great advice and have kept me very well informed throughout the process.
