The young man seemed more clinical
The young man seemed more clinical, brief and defensive, "covering the company's back" than in my previous experience with PJ. He made no effort to volunteer reasons for the around 20% premium increase. Can't fault the call objectively, though. Also, I still firmly believe in the company and respect its recent achievements.

Premium increased again this year
Premium increased again this year, and has for last few, when my other 2 policies with other companies has come down quite a lot. Asked if anything could be looked at, and told point blank, no. Ive been with peter james for 15 years, and never questioned the premium, but felt i should this time. Its not that its expensive, its just as its increased, whilst other insurers are decreasing their premiums (my bike sure policy redused by 48% this term)
My policy actually expired whilst i was considering other options, so i then gog stung for a "new policy" rather than a renewal, which again, is more money.
I stayed with PDJ because the changing of bikes mid term, is quick and easy, although no longer free to do, like it was before the business was bought out. Its definitely not the same as it was when i first took the policy out 15 years a go.
