This is my first time actually going to the 'Open Market' to purchase a Maine Coon cat, I was pleasantly surprised going through this process with so much ease and lack of stress.

I feel scammed!
Very disappointing and misleading experience with Pets4Homes.

The PawCover “protection” is far too easy to add during checkout, and it’s not made clear enough that you are effectively agreeing to a non-refundable fee the moment you click. I added this without realising the implications and contacted them shortly after to cancel — well within what I understood to be a standard 14-day cooling-off period.

Despite this, they refused to refund the £47.50 fee, stating the service starts immediately and is non-refundable. There was no clear, prominent warning that I was waiving my cancellation rights, which feels extremely misleading.

Customer service simply repeated their terms and conditions rather than addressing the issue fairly.

Be very careful when using this site — it’s far too easy to agree to something you can’t undo, and you may lose money even if you act quickly.

I’m sharing this so others don’t get caught out the same way.

Straightforward communication and easy payment options. While you always need to stay vigilant against scams, we had a fantastic experience and found our perfect puppy from a lovely breeder.

awful service from pets 4 home what ever you do don't pay through them as the seller didn't get the deposit i paid they also charge 76.00 pounds for paying through them i am still waiting to get my money back they don't even answer there emails you send go direct to the seller

The whole process was very smooth and money transferred almost immediately just before kitten is handed over and new owners have confirmed that they are happy.

Very careful advice about choosing a puppy protecting both the advertiser & and the buyer .Would use again without any hesitation

Purchased puppy from Brummystaffs Birmingham -- miniature Dachsumd ,-- soon after arriving home puppy developed a cough-- took her to my vets and diagnosed problem with larynx with the kennel cough-- paid £85 including travel

Daylight robbery’ paid a deposit on a puppy through this site & they charged me £150 for nothing’ can’t even redeem it’ the seller wasn’t aware of pets4homes charging this ridiculous amount of money’ if I knew this I would have travelled the 50 miles & paid the owner myself DO NOT BUY a puppy through this site

Everything was fine until I had to try and verify my id. From there on I was trapped in a never ending loop of follow the email link which took me to the login page, which told me my account was on hold follow the link in the email. Round and round in circles we go. Eventually after getting zero help from any service agents other than a new email link which only started the whole process again, I gave up.
My general opinion of this site is it caters more for puppy farms and poor quality breeders looking to make a quick profit. Personally I would rather use the Kennel Club site, sadly the money grabbers don't want the checks and restrictions that go with it so fewer reputable pups are offered there now, but for myself, I can wait.

A wonderful breeder who continues to support us fully thru the early stages of settling our new kitten.

Don’t use this site I posted an add to rehome my dog as far as I knew the add was live i payed to boost my ad and they sent me an email saying the ad wasn’t active as I needed to change some things there was nothing wrong with my ad! I asked for a refund considering it was never live or boosted and my email has been completely ignored scummy.

I receive details of wonderful puppies and even older dogs needing new homes for whatever reasons. I would certainly recommend this significant your looking for a percific breed of dog. A brilliant site for viewing magnificent dogs.
