What a great company to work with! Thank you to Claire and the team at Pets Abroad for making a stressful experience much lighter and easier than we could have imagined. From the UK to SA, our two doggies are ratting happily in their new garden!

We had an excellent experience with Pets Abroad UK relocating our two cats from Abu Dhabi to their new home with us in the UK.
From the very beginning, the team was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent—we were kept informed every step of the way.
Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently, and it was clear that the team genuinely cared about the welfare of our cats. We couldn't have asked for a better service.

Pets Abroad, specifically Claire, helped us move three dogs and one cat from the UK to South Africa. I was honestly dreading it, particularly as moving the animals was just one part of a large move, but Claire made the whole process so doable, no question was stupid and she helped every step of the way. Whilst in transit Claire sent us photos and updates throughout. I could not recommend them more highly.

Pets Abroad UK made our move so much easier. They took amazing care of our two pets, ensuring they were comfortable at Heathrow and well-prepared for their journey to Cape Town. We are so happy to have them home. Thank you for the seamless service and for looking after our animals so well.

Our cat, Lucky was coming from Toronto to LHR.
Because Toronto temperatures were very high(34C)
animals cannot be left outside as cargo is loaded.
His flight was moved from the 6pm to 8pm to 10pm and finally 11.30pm!
Pets abroad handled all the changes and kept James in the UK informed. When he finally landed,
the process went very smoothly and when we picked him he was in great shape. Thank you all!

My questions promptly, put me at ease when I was feeling very anxious about my dogs first journey on a plane . She sent me photos of them the day i dropped them off and the day of , and also emailed the following day to ensure they were ok, couldn’t rate this company highly enough 🙂

​I paid £ 827 to Pets Abroad for Same-Day customs clearance for my two cats on a Saturday evening. Due to a paperwork error by their staff, the clearance was delayed and instead of fixing it, the team simply logged off for the night. I was calling multiple times and was sending emails also the staff from the reception was trying call whoever they could but nobody was answering.

​My partner was left at Heathrow, forced to book a night in the hotel - he had to spend more than £ 100 for the night, and our cats had to spend an unnecessary, stressful night at the reception center that I wanted to avoid by paying Extra for the Same-Day collection.

​When I asked for a refund of the evening premium and the hotel costs, they tried to deduct an £80 "weekend surcharge" because the clearance was completed on Sunday morning. This is ridiculous logic—the only reason my cats were still there on Sunday is because their staff failed to do their job on Saturday. You cannot charge a customer a penalty fee for a delay your own company caused.

​I have sent multiple emails trying to resolve this, but the company has completely ghosted me for weeks. Shocking customer service and zero care for animals or clients. I cannot recommend their services.

I used Pets Abroad UK because I was ever so grateful the first time and again this time they never disappointed me. Claire not only made sure Buddy got to South Africa but dealt with all my anxieties with such kindness 💙 thank you Claire from both Buddy and myself

Pets abroad UK were brilliant! First time sending my little Jack Russell (Tizzy) to Kenya and Claire handled all my questions and concerns calmly and efficiently. When I handed her over the office was so welcoming and I had no worries leaving her to get settled in before the flight. Thanks to Claire & the whole team for a seamless process.

Brilliant company, really fast at responding to emails, worth driving 2 hours to their little office where their lovely Vet did the blood tests in 10 minutes and everyone is so friendly, they look after your furry friends really well!

Pets Abroad were fantastic when we moved our 2 cats and dog to South Africa. They took the stress out of having to sort the blood-work out for Teddy and they did the export health certificates. One of our cats was unfortunately poorly the day before departure, but Claire made sure Seb was well looked after. It's a very stressful process, moving your animals around the world, but they made it less stressful.

An amazing company to work with. Becky helped put me at ease with the stress of flying my 3 dogs to the US. She and her team were responsive and made every effort to check in and guarantee that all of the dog's paperwork was correct and ready to go for their journey. The dogs were picked up by a lovely guy called Jaime and I was immediately ensured that they would be well taken care of. They were boarded for an evening and seemed to be having the best time. They were well looked after and it really helped me feel less worried about their journey.

Moving country was enough stress, moving our dog was even more, but Pets Abroad were so helpful at all times, from initial conversations, flight selection, drop off and updates before she flew, we were so thankful for everything they did to make the journey as low stress as possible. Pets Abroad were fantastic with moving my cat Louis to South Africa. They were kind and efficient and kept me in the loop at all times with photos. The agent in South Africa - Pet Port, were also fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either company. It's very stressful to move a pet so far, especially a cat, so I was very grateful to them for making this easier on me.

Pets Abroad UK has been amazing in helping us bring our dog Maple to the USA from the UK. Becky worked with us to make sure that Maple arrived safely and was well taken care of along the way. The whole Pets Abroad UK team has been absolutely fantastic. They updated us every step of the way and it made us feel reassured that Maple was in great hands. I absolutely recommend them! Maple is now settled and happy as could be in California.

We chose Pets Abroad to help with the transition of our Labrador Rosie from the UK to our new home in the UAE. From the very beginning of querying to the very end of having Rosie personally delivered to our front door the whole process was so smooth, stress-free and very simple. The whole team were fantastic! We were given a list of everything they needed from us before travel and from there they handled everything else for us. Rosie was collected from the house to stay with the team overnight and then the following day she was flown out. During the time we were without Rosie, Kimberley updated us with pictures of her and what she was up to / how she was doing. Once she was in the UAE we were updated of her arrival and within just a few hours she was personally dropped off by the agents who work along side Pets Abroad. We couldn’t be any more grateful for such a delightful service and would absolutely recommend Pets Abroad to anyone who are thinking of moving their beloved animals with them.
