Petsreunited - it's in the name! A brilliant service to help people reunite with their pets if they need help. And people can share information if needed/wanted etc

I think essentially that this is a great idea. I paid the extra £20 to have vets etc notified within a certain radius, which no other site that i used was doing.

However, the length of time it takes for a report to actually be listed is ridiculous. I was shocked that it took a couple of days. Is it because it was the weekend and your teams don't work weekends? Other sites are either instant or a couple of hours, so this really felt like a let down. Its an awful experience losing a very much loved member of your family and hopes are pinned on others perhaps sighting your family member and letting you know. I have no idea what needs to be done to approve the ad before publishing, but surely that can't be difficult?

Also, I've gone to close the report as my boy is safely home and noticed a potential sighting was listed. Could this not be sent to the associated email address automatically? I didn't know i had to log in to view these and cobsequently missed it.

Gets the message out there to as wide an audience as possible. Also possible to upload a colour photo of the pet in question. Only slight downside is the slight delay in getting the notification approved for publication given that the first 24 hours are so important.

I have used pets reunited site before. It is really helpful, it shows pictures of animals to look out for that are lost. Easy to report pets found and missing. Would highly recommend using this site

It was very easy to make the report and create posters and leaflets. The 50 free printed posters came in under 24 hrs with a sweet inside. The number protection add on made me feel so much safer too. I had an alert come through as well as I also keep an eye out for lost pets in my area. Very reassuring. Well worth every penny. And my cat came home. Very happy.

If just people would use this site, so many lives would be saved.

Why is the search for lost cats so inefficient? The colours do not include Ginger which is a main colour of many cats. The search area does not allow the user to see what they have typed in. Someone needs to give the site a serious overhaul. After all they are there to make money off the back of very upset peoples sadness and anxiety, surely they can do a better job of what they provide.

Excellent site for missing pets, very useful as not everyone is on Facebook. They contact all the local vets which is very helpful when you are busy looking for your pet.

Was really easy to use, not a silly amount of money..and I was very grateful for the tel number protection! The flyers are super effective, we posted through doors and put up a lot of posters, as well as pasting onto social media posts. The link for 50 free posters is well worth it, they did an amazing job and came a day earlier than indicated.

The service provided by PetsReunited was second to none. The leaflets they produced for us enabled us to find out what happened to our pet cat Missy very, very quickly (within half an hour of posting them through letterboxes in our local area). I would recommend this service without hesitation to anyone with a missing pet.

Really helpful and got through looking for her and putting posters out as it felt like a chore to do it all from scratch.

Used the protected number service for sightings and ordered posters to put up in the neighbourhood. Received missing posters the next day via Royal Mail. Cat entered a neighbours house via cat flap; neighbour had seen the posters so called to arrange returning the cat home. Perfect outcome.

Losing a pet is a traumatic experience. Pets Reunited were superb in publicising my missing car, and the 50 free missing posters helped no end. I hope I never need them again but would use them again without hesitation.
