PHOENIX WAY CAR DEALERSHIP LIMITED Avis 

I spent £15,000 on a 15 plate Mercedes Benz C Class which I bought at this dealership, with 3 months warranty. The car was checked and inspected by myself and everything seemed perfect including the paperwork.
Until 6 days later I started to hear a squeaking sound. I thought it must be nothing just me being paranoid as it’s a new car. I got it checked at three different garages just to make sure and it was the ball joint which was completely knackered. (The noise went worse the more days I drove)
The arm and ball joint needed to be replaced with the bushes which came to a whopping £310. Further to this the garage checked the rest of the car and showed me the underneath, both front tires were completely bold from the inside and the tracking was completely off. The front brake pads had 1mm left so I had to change them as well!! I then had to go to National to do the tracking but they insisted there is no point unless you change the front two tires. So that was another £240. Which = £550.

During all this I called the garage multiple times to access my warranty but I didn’t get any straight answers. The option I were given was to ‘go to London’ which is 4 hours away from me so they can repair it themselves from their own mechanic. They knew I would never do that as it is time consuming and would have damaged the car even more!!
The warranty company they are under does not even have a phone number you can ring and any garage you go to will not take part with the 3rd party warranty which they have so that was completely useless.
The owner kept saying the car is perfect and the garages are making it up and I’m being over charged when I took it to three different garages and the one who fixed it was actually my dads friend.
The owner did not offer to cover me to pay for any parts even though the car was bought within 2 weeks from them.
The owner did not give any discounted price on the vehicle which was at 15k even though I travelled so far to retrieve it.
I would definitely not recommend this place, I have been ripped off. I do not know what else will need fixing but I assure you they will not care once you’ve left.

Don't make the same mistake I have. Trying to get a good deal or a cheap deal is the question you must ask yourself. If you want peace of mind , don't deal with this dealership. They don't call you back or offer any sort of back up service. Once the deal is done they simply ignore you until you give up trying. After spending over £6,000 with them they do not feel that it is of any importance to deal with their customer. Terrible Service, so sorry to write a review like this but I'm fed up of people not backing what they say.

Great experience at this dealership. Very friendly and honest bunch. The gentleman helped me with what I was looking for and delivered my car on time. Would recommend.

The follow-up from Phoenix Way Dealership has been excellent. It really is refreshing to see a team take pride in there work and reputation. I've used these guys in the past and have always been more than happy with the service. But, after an initial hiccup, these guys have really pulled through and I love the car I've bought and happy to be back with the security of their service and after-care. Thanks guys.
