For the past 44years, Plantation Shutters Ltd has maintained an excellent level of care, passion and service by keeping our business model simple. We have never wavered from our original philosophy of using the best craftsmanship and the highest quality materials to produce the finest shutters on the market. This, combined with our knowledgeable and experienced installation team, has meant that we are the first choice for people who demand the best, and our long standing clientele is testament to this. However, as the market expands, it is important to differentiate between companies in terms of product, quality, service and expertise – we guarantee that we will never sacrifice our standards in any of these and above all, aim to maintain our position as the optimum provider of plantation shutters in the UK.

Fantastic company
I had a terrible experience with some cowboy builders from hell who were supposed to install shutters at my property. They ordered them from Plantation Shutters Ltd but to arrive months after they were supposed to have finished. Once the shutters arrived it turned out that the cowboys had ordered the wrong frame and measured incorrectly. I dealt with Plantation Shutters Ltd directly, and they bent over backwards to try and help me sort out the mess. After corresponding with them and sending photos, we re-ordered the frame, and their head fitter, Phil, spent hours getting it and the shutters to fit. I think the end result looks great and visitors have been complimentary. Everybody at the company was very helpful, particularly India and Phil.

Plantation Shutters Ltd
Plantation shutters visited my flat 20 January 2022 to measure, discuss slat size and material, and give me a free estimate which I was happy with. I placed an order and was told installation would be in about twelve weeks as the shutters have to be made to measure abroad and shipped to the UK. Installation took place on 5 April 2022. I am delighted with my new shutters which look so much better than curtains. I am grateful for the expertise of the estimator, the two installers and the Plantation Shutters Ltd office staff who were all professional and courteous. Thank you Plantation Shutters Ltd

Hi Elizabeth, thank you so much for your kind review, we’re delighted that you enjoyed working with the Plantation Shutters team. We want to ensure that every client we work with has a wonderfully warm welcome every time they reach out the team and it sounds like we have achieved that for you. It makes all the difference when you feel well looked after by a company as it ensures that transforming your windows with luxury shutters feels like the exciting and enjoyable process that it should be. The beautiful all wood Pearlwood material you have selected provides a stunning offering of a lightweight luxury material that is manufactured from a lovely mix of hardwoods which really boosts the shutters to new levels. You know where to find us if you need absolutely anything else at all.
Beautiful Shutters
The plantation shutters have transformed our window to something elegant and pleasing to look at. The quality is great too and gives privacy when I want it. I will get the other windows done soon.
This is a very friendly and responsive company and I thoroughly recommend them.

Hi Mimi, it’s great to hear that we have been able to transform your windows with shutters and that you are pleased with the overall finish they have provided for the space. One of the key benefits of interior Plantation Shutters is the privacy they introduce to a home, especially on windows that may be looked in on or be on a ground floor level. The other fantastic benefits that you will enjoy with shutters on your windows is increased temperature, light and noise control for the space. Opting for a Café style shutter with a hidden break as you have is a brilliant way to increase the versatility of louvre control. If you want to adjust the light levels or privacy in the room, then different louvre sections can be maneuvered accordingly (as opposed to all moving in one combined block) , so there is more variation on offer. Thank you so much for choosing Plantation Shutters for your stunning new shutters - we're here for anything you may need going forward.
A professional company
A professional company, having been messed around by a number of other shutter companies. We found plantation shutters to be professional, honest, helpful and open.

Hi Yasmin, it’s a shame to hear that you had a bad experience with other companies you reached out to for your shutters, but we are glad that working with our experts has turned this around to be a positive transformation of your windows. You’ve chosen some truly stunning options for the design of your shutters including our luxury full wood Pearlwood material and Silk White paint finish which has a lovely depth of colour and matches fantastically with the window and surrounds. Custom bay posts are an extra shutter feature that require some additional expertise to install but make the difference between an average shutter and the highest quality shutter. Choosing a company that has the skill to provide the shutters at this highest level is always a wise investment. Thank you for your review and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need anything at all.

Hi Claire, it’s fantastic to hear that you have enjoyed working with the Plantation Shutters team and that we have been able to offer you a 5-star service. Two key elements make up the value of a company and that’s supplying a high quality product and having a brilliant and passionate team who work with customers at the heart of everything they do. We think of the team at Plantation Shutters as being like a family, and with every member of staff working in house, we are able to guarantee the quality of workmanship on every order. If you decide to transform any more of your lovely windows or we can help with anything else in the future please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
High quality, and good service
Really pleased. We had 6 shutters installed, including one which was a triple bay window.
The quality is excellent and the fitting was easy and to a high standard. The installer respected our property too. We have used them before and recommended them to others. Everyone has had the same experience.
Thoroughly recommend.

Very pleased
The company came to measure and advise as to most suitable design for our windows, which turned out to be different from what I had first envisaged.
Staff were friendly and helpful from the online quotation stage to the measuring and fitting stages.
The shutters were ready earlier than we expected and were fitted by two friendly and respectful young men, very professionally.
The shutters were part of a home refurbishment. I had been worried about them blocking light but they are lovely and still allow view to the garden and street beyond. We had them in every room as an alternative to Venetian blinds. They are cosy and flexible.
The design team helpfully adjusted the design slightly to allow for a seasonal air conditioning unit to be used with a hose through the window in one room.
Very pleased.

A very, very good experience.
Despite all the difficulties currently being faced by businesses, Plantation Shutters were great from start to finish.
Somehow, they managed to deliver everything promised within the time frames that they originally quoted us with. The guy doing the installation turned up on time, was polite, professional and completed the job quickly.
We're very happy with the whole process and would recommend using this company to anyone.
