Really helpful but the bad words shouldn't be used as children look at it to. You could only just say what age power thesaurus is for like 9+.

This app sucks
This app sucks, it keeps asking me if I'm a robot and cuts access to the site. I have to keep emailing it to restore access; they apologize then it happens again. I just want to cancel my subscription and try a more functional app.

As communicated in our email 26th of September, the error has been triggered by internal anti-bot software that responded to widespread spam or parsing attacks across multiple IPs / Subnets.
Please note that you haven’t responded to our email request to confirm that you are NOT using the service using any automated systems, so that we could send this for manual review based on access logs.
As for PRO subscription, it can be cancelled using your account setting on our website, or by contacting PRO support team via pro@powerthesaurus.org.

Warning: Poor business practice
Extremely disappointed with the user design and its expensive cost which isn't justified by the content offered. The cancellation button is cleverly hidden, making it hard to find or even know how to cancel. Despite reaching out to the company the same day for a refund, they outright refused. There are much better and cost-effective alternatives like Grammarly and Office 365 which offer equal or superior content. I strongly advise avoiding this app due to these poor business practices.

Pay wall? Seriously?
I can't believe they've had the damn cheek to install a pay wall. I've used and contributed to their database for some time, as have many users. The primary homepage USP is "Community-driven".
And yet they now feel entitled to lock out the contributors who made the site what it is! Greedy, unfair, unjust, grasping, avaricious and many other synonyms!

We truly regret that the development of PRO Membership tailed for regular users has caused such disappointment for you, forcing you to rate Power Thesaurus as 1 out of 5 after being such a loyal user.
Please note that unregistered users still enjoy freely-accessible top-voted content, which is used by 97% of all users. That's millions of outstanding synonyms and antonyms used by many users on a daily basis. For those who need some more, we provide two additional options (Free and Paid):
1) FREE registered account - as you probably noticed, provides many useful account-related and cross-device features including substantially fewer ads, contributors by suggestions and voting, search history, favorites, pins, etc. Also, more content compared to unregistered. Free registered accounts have access to content that was used by at least 99% of all users in our trials.
2) PRO subscription-based membership - tailed for regular writers and students who need distraction-free (no ads, other banners, questions) experience, even more content than what is used by 99% of users and ready to support our development efforts by contributing relatively small monthly or annual fee. In addition, such users get more powerful tools like advanced Chrome extension, allowing to access the same content from their Chrome toolbar.
We would love to provide all tools (web, apps, extensions) in Power Thesaurus ecosystem for free without any ads or payments, however, unfortunately, the donations we receive are not enough to cover our substantial costs for reliable hosting, further software development and constant editorial work by our full-time lexicographers.
