Precision Tune Auto Care Avis 10

Got a catalytic converter and o2 sensor replaced- aftermarket equip. 3 days latter the emission light came back on- they adjusted car computer. Drove away from Panama City Fla- 3 days latter light went on again. Need to replace both sensor and converter. PC Precision tune up charged me 2200 plus for junk that I had to replace at dealership ( Honda)
The manager~ Juan- also asked me to give upa portion of a military discount so he could pay his mechanic!
Place is an absolute clip joint.
Building is a dump. Woman at front desk has music blasting out at 8am with her dog running around. The hell with the customers

At the Precision Tune Auto in Goose Creek, SC, the manager, Rory, is everything a manager should be: polite, professional, honest and trustworthy.
When Rory was at the Precision Tune location in Summerville, SC, I took my Volvo and BMW there to get serviced. Everything went well - until he left.
I am very particular about anyone working on my cars; now two BMW's. And, because of that, I now go to the Goose Creek Precision Tune, where Rory is now the manager. His mechanics there are extremely thorough, and highly knowledgeable, especially when it comes to working on European autos. Plus, I trust them in their diagnostics and work.
I have had both BMW's serviced there and I couldn't not be happier in their care, attention, work and thoroughness.
It is very hard to find an auto service center that will work on BMW's, do good work and not overcharge. Rory and his team are the epitome of excellence and I highly recommend them.

Precision tune treated me the worst I've ever been treated by a business or company in my 56 years I went in for a diagnostic drove in and had to have my car towed out of there because they stole so many items off of my car including all of my airbags opened up my door panels floor panels stole my engine cover my stereo speakers so many things and then told me that I needed $7000 worth of work on stuff that was already replaced on my car they totally took advantage of me because I'm a woman I feel extremely discriminated against my feelings are hurt and I don't feel like fighting because I have other things that that I choose to fight for but I will fight for this one because of course they denied everything but I have all my receipts so you'll see the review when I finish with them and get my money precision tune of make sure you don't go there bowie, MD the inciden happened jan 2,2024

I’ve been going to this business for years and I’ve had some really good experiences with these guys! These guys will definitely get you taken care of. They stay very busy so sometimes it takes time for them to be able to do what they need to do which is completely understandable! Besides I’d much rather wait on my car and know it’s being done right than to get a rush job from somebody else. Overall IMO these guys get a 10 out of 10.

Replaced Rotors with the wrong size and refuse to reimburse when new ones had to be bought from another mechanic.

Service was good. Was not happy when examining the invoice I see 7.98 fee for shop supplies tacked onto to charge for the oil change. Also did not know of the charge for the oil filter until it was pointed out on a list of extra charges on the desk. Sales people should verbalize these charges before the work is done so that customers are not surprised when receiving the invoice. I will avoid Precision Tune in the future.

The team at Precision tune auto care took their time and invested their resources to diagnose my wife’s vehicle. Instead of overcharging me and potentially underperforming they let me know from the jump that the task was outside of the scope of practice. What the Cadillac dealership would’ve charged me 200 and some odd dollars for the good people at precision tune auto care did it for free. Thank you guys.

After wasting my time and my gas, and now I will have to wait until I get my money back! Why? Because we have 1 business, Precision tune, falsely advertising their services by appointment only, but that isn't the case at all! No, in fact it is whenever they feel like doing it! Well that isn't why I bought this coupon, and it isn't going to fly with me, the ad shows that this coupon is By APPOINTMENT ONLY! I bet there are allot of people this has happened to besides me. I call there and speak to a man and the first thing he said was, they do not do appointments, and he stated their business hours and said first come first serve! So I drove from my house in Hampton Virginia to Precision tune in Newport News Virginia. I go in there a little after lunch and the same man is I spoke to on the phone earlier, is there in the office. So I confirm he is the one I spoke to earlier, and he says well you gonna leave your vehicle and I says, Nope, I'm going to wait for it that's why I called you and asked about the appointment, that's what your advertisement shows! He said there's too many people ahead of you we won't be able to get to it today! I said you can't be serious, it is just a little after lunch time? I said don't worry about it, I will get my money back and you will change your advertisement when I'm done! Had I known this was NOT by appointment only, as your advertisement claims, I would have flipped right past this coupon on Groupon, and so would the majority of people im willing to bet, but changing the advertisement to reflect a lie is to get more sales is not only dishonest but it's illegal! You need to be held accountable for this!

Farragut location, Knoxville Tn. I have been bringing our Malibu, Caliber, Ram 1500, and Yukon here since we came last year. Oil changes have been primary reason however recently we had plugs changed due to a misfire on #8,on Ram that ended up being a mouse nest under the cover. (same day while we waited diagnostic and install of new plugs) I have purchased an air conditioning service on Groupon that I plan on using soon on Caliber. We have spent quite a bit here and walked with them thru their changes and have been treated very well. I have seen the owner really help some people out to get them on the road again. As of now very happy with our experiences.
