My sale in Headingley completed this week. Preston Baker now have self employed associates who each cover their own area, and that clearly works. I can't say enough good things about Jess Fox who I believe covers Headingley, Horsforth, Kirkstall, Leeds City Centre etc along with her business partner Andy. Jess was clearly invested personally in selling my house, and put so much effort in from start to finish.
At the outset she advised me how to make small changes to my house to make it more attractive to a wider audience. She proactively contacted potential buyers and conducted the viewings herself. Jess knows her area, knows her properties, knows her potential buyers and is great at matching them up. You're not just a name on a list.
Who else would give a first time buyer who was new to Headingley a personal tour of the area after their viewing?!
Once an offer was accepted, Jess was adept at managing all parties involved (buyer/seller & solicitors) and getting the sale completed.
During Jess's holiday as my completion neared, her colleague Andy was able to step in seamlessly and keep the momentum up.
All in all, Jess & Andy took the pain out of a stressful process with professionalism, humour & hard work.

Absolute joke gives me 2 dates for moving and doesn't accept responsibility go through review procedure done by fellow colleague result nothing to answer to see what ombudsman says if I'm still alive when they come to decision

Such lovely people they can’t do enough for you, pictures they take are outstanding and they always keep you up to date and explain things very clearly, estate agents fees are all about the same except with Preston baker you do get your money’s worth and more certainly no complaints from me

One of the most difficult times in buying and selling a house is the final month when having to deal with solicitors, vendors and purchasers and Terri Burrows from Preston Baker, who was looking after us, definitely came through for us. Terri not only did what would be expected from an estate agent, but she even went the extra mile, and we can say without a doubt that our house sale and purchase would have taken much longer had it not been for Terri's efforts in the final week when some challenging situations and difficulties arose.

Can’t say enough about how well the sale of our house was managed by Gemma. What can be quite a stressful event was made easier knowing we had advice whenever we needed it (even on her days off). When our sale fell through, Gemma was straight back on with the marketing and arranging new viewings very quickly to keep the momentum going with our move. She helped push everything through at the end also, giving the solicitors a much needed nudge along.

Hedley came to view our property. He was prompt, introduced himself and the company prior to viewing.
He was professional and respectful at all times and only proceeded to view when asked to do so. Throughout, he was engaging - asking only appropriate and relevant questions. He even shared some of his views and visions on the future prospects of our home and what new buyers would be looking for, which I found very interesting. He had clearly done his homework/research prior and provided me with an expected and realistic valuation. He provided some advice about "pre-sale clearouts" to promote a better selling opportunity - again which I found extremely useful. All in all - a very positive experience. Thank you.
