"Under pressure", to quote David Bowie & Queen
My car's tyre pressure warning light kept coming on even after inflating the tyres - the readings were only showing slight variations. I visited Protyre and they inflated the tyres and checked the pressures. When the warning light came on again they investigated the valves and the warning light sensors before removing the wheels and finding a slow puncture on an inside tyre wall, meaning a new tyre! Refreshingly, there had been no initial "it's a puncture and you need a new tyre" approach, but now needing a new tyre even more refreshing was the fact that the new tyre cost around £30 less than I'd paid previously elsewhere. So all in all the helpful, friendly approach of the Protyre team - and the cost of the new tyre - helped make an unwanted experience as bearable as possible. I'll certainly make Protyre my first port of call whenever I'm unlucky enough to experience any future tyre problems.

Credit to Customer Relations for stepping in and fixing issue
I previously gave a one star rating as I bought 4 new tyres from Protyre but had problems with dashboard warning lights for tyres and brakes after driving away which they were initially reluctant to deal with.
To their credit the customer relations team reached out after the review and offered to deal with it. Two more visits needed but the damaged sensor has now been replaced at no charge and hopefully no more warning lights.

Took too long and are rude & aggressive!
Took too long to do after I was told it would be an hour, I was there for over 2 hours, making me late to collect my children.
Brought a voucher from Groupon that specifically stated an aircon regas and pollen filter replacement. When I arrived at protyre pokesdown, they said it doesn’t include the pollen filter and they advised to contact Groupon, which I did while sat there waiting for the car to be done.
Groupon agreed it should include the pollen filter and gave me a refund, not that I asked for one.
When the car was done, the staff got upset and said as it been refunded, they wouldn’t let me leave until I had paid for another voucher, despite me saying that’s an issue that should take up with Groupon, they were very forceful about it so felt I had no option but to buy it again.
Left with the car, contacted Groupon who again, refunded it to me.
I won’t be coming back, there is a right and wrong way to speak to customers if you are in the wrong.
** UPDATE **
Despite the below reply, no one’s got in touch to offer a resolve, discuss or fix so their reply is clearly lip service for the benefit of thier trust pilot.

Extremely helpful and friendly service. I’m reluctant to call her a receptionist (as she is infinitely more than that to this business) is beautiful in every way. The guys in the workshop (not quite as beautiful, but close.. ..ish) are as close to normal people as mechanics get and faster than every other mechanic team in.. hmm ..the greater European area.
Nothing needs to change here. I hope they are doing well. If the big boss is reading.. Give these guys a pay rise you greedy f***!

Friendly, professional and efficient!
I always use Protyre and the service has always been good. Recently I went in because believe it or not, a Psychic friend of mine told me that I urgently needed my tyres checked. Well, guess what? All 4 tyres needed replacing as they were badly cracked and worn. Phoebe at reception was great, very speedy and efficient. I came back that afternoon and had the replacements and the tracking done. It was all very professional and quick and very friendly. Moral of the story.- listen to your Psychic friends and go to Protyre 😊
