It took over 2 hours to fit 5 tyres. Not the usual speed and efficiency you had at the original Buckley Tyres.

1 star is too much...
I dont recommend Protyre at all... rang up to ask if they drop test leisure batteries... yes they said...
got there following morning... no they dont... waste of time and effort...
won't be using protyre ever again... useless and waste of space.
Place was empty, not a good look...
when it was Buckley Tyres and family ran, it was the best... definitely rubbish customer service now...
100% go somewhere else...

Great Service and very helpful staff
Great Service and very helpful staff. Booked in to have a tyre checked for a puncture, turns out my alloy had split on the inner rim. The guy recommended a local business that could weld it and got me the mobile number, removed my tyre and left my car there while I got my wheel repaired. Refitted my tyre once welded and checked it out before I left. Very impressed.

Booking and payment was easy and all fine. Staff very friendly. Just ruined my car mats with oil from boots when in my car. Would advise using paper covers in future.

Simply just worked after booking an appointment and arriving ahead of time my car was ushered straight into the garage and tech advised me that the tyre I was querying was in fact good but the rear were borderline. Pleasant experience.

Replacement exhaust
Booked in for an exhaust review as blowing and noisy. They established that it needed replacing from the flex to the back box inclusive. They undertook the work the same day. Upon collection the new chrome exhaust, which a boy racer would have loved as it was louder than the previous one. Returned immediately to be told it takes time to bed in so do 100 miles and return if no better. 200 miles later went back as still noisy and to be fair they replaced it under warranty stating it was faulty. Upon collection to be greeted with a soaking wet seat as they had kindly left the window fully open. Obviously fuming went to the reception to be advised no manager or assistant as both on holiday so would need to wait and did we know anyone with a heater to dry it out ourselves. Anyway exhaust number two was just as bad so upon the manager returning booked car in again for the exhaust to be replaced with an original one not a chrome and it is lovely and quiet. Got there in the end but will not be returning sorry. Buckley Tyres always had a good reputation for quality and service.

I booked my vehicle in for checks on…
I booked my vehicle in for checks on exhaust suspension steering brakes tracking. As a previous employee for the company I thought they would have looked after me an done a good job checking my car over as requested by my warranty. But unfortunately they only had the car 20mins an didn't do anything just checked the tracking an brakes with out test driving the vehicle I was extremely disappointed by this. Tbh an won't be returning or recommending them anymore..
