Good price and was able to get a discount online for my MOT. However I do have a couple of concerns. The waiting room has a poster up saying "We will never undertake unnecessary work - ever!" My car failed its MOT on a ball joint that had too much play. The garage more or less insisted though that both ball joints should be replaced, not just the faulty one. I questioned this but they still said they would recommend both be replaced so I agreed but not sure this was really necessary. Their quote for repairs also included a high price for 2 new back tyres. When I question this, they said both tyres were still legal but were on the advisory list. I said I would have monitor them and get them replaced when they needed to be replaced so they reduced their quote by around £200. Turns out neither of them will need replacing for a good few months yet. Also there are branded and budget tyres available at various prices but they garage made no mention of this at all - the customer needs to be presented with the options so they can make an informed choice. Sounds like they were actually trying to undertake unnecessary work to me.

Good timely experience overall. However, I was quoted for 2 new tyres when the tyres were an advisory not an mot fail. I was also only given 1 high price for these but there was branded and budget tyres so the various options need to be provided so the customer can decide for themselves. Also the car failed on 1 ball joint but the garage more or less insisted on replacing both of them which was unnecessary. There is a sign up in the waiting room saying that they never undertake unnecessary work ever. Well here's 2 examples of trying to do just that.

All of the tyres were at different over inflated pressures, causing the tyre pressure warning to be triggered the next day on the M5. I was charged for wheel alignment but nothing was changed. The car almost fell off the Jack's when all 4 wheels were removed at the same time. The staff all thought this was a big joke. Avoid this place, they're a bunch of idiotic clowns!

Always great service from these guys and no hidden extras to pay for. They've done my servicing and repairs for years and I've never had a complaint.
