PCH is a thing of the past

As of today 041026, I can no longer play for the big sweeps on my desktop, only the little ones which are a waste of time, after paying taxes wouldn't even pay off my credit cards, you can only enter the big sweeps now when on their shopping page and buying crappy merchandise or purchasing a membership. After playing by mail since 1995, online for 12+ years and amassing trillions of tokens and points, as a vip I will no longer be participating in this scam of an operation, lets get real, chances are we will never win anyway, it's all been a lie!

I have been participating in…

I have been participating in publisher's clearance house for almost 20 years I never once purchased any items from the massive showcase they have . I only played some games sweepstakes ect . Eventually becoming VIP one day a few years ago I got a call from pch and the woman on the other line stated I won. She never said what but transferred me to another women who flat out told me to purchase about 300.00 worth of items . I refused and she hung up. If you find the games entertaining then continue but keep in mind pch had a recent bankruptcy and some prior winners are having some problems. Ps . I stopped playing.

New ownership......same scam

PCH has new owners but it's the same ole rip-off and fraud. They're still are trying to sell imported inferior and defective junk. I've bought acouple things over the years that broke or stopped working within days of receiving it. They don't even try to hide the fact that their phone app games and contests are openly and blatantly rigged. They use a technique that the Federal Trade Commission calls "Computerized Mathematical Manipulation" in their contests and sweepstakes. They hand out hundreds of thousands of free tokens but that doesn't mean diddly when your odds of winning anything is like 2-5 billion to one. (read the sweepstakes facts). They've been hemorrhaging money and they're so desperate for revenue that they're selling ad space to everyone and anyone, ethical or not. Up to 4 minute long video ads and usually the "Skip ad" button doesn't work. You can't continue to navigate the website till the ads are finished. They're even stacking ads on top of each other. Like I said.....new owners, same fraud and scam. Trustpilot won't let me give it zero stars so I give it one star that it doesn't deserve.

PCH took advantage of an elderly man with dementia!

Horrible, Horrible Horrible!! Publishers Clearing House scammed my grandfather out of thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars! He was in his 90's and had dementia!! My mom had to move him into an assisted living facility and his place was packed with all kinds of Publishers Clearing House boxes. Boxes he never even opened. The boxes filled his kitchen, living room, spare bedroom, office, lined the hallway! It was ridiculous! There was all kinds of stuff. I thought Publisher's Clearing House just sold magazines but apparently, they sell just about everything! I thought I heard somewhere that Publishers Clearing House is supposed to recognize if someone is ordering a lot and they would put the breaks on that because clearly there is a problem with that person since the average person would not order THAT much stuff but apparently they let my grandfather continue buying stuff that he did not need. I think he was just trying to win the prize and for the record...even after spending as much money as he did....he never won anything! Sadly he was not part of the $18,000,000 settlement with the FTC however.....it would not have even come close to making up for what he spent with Publishers Clearing House as it seems that with all of the people involved, they only got about $65.00 each and I'm not sure if that's before or after lawyer fees.

The survey Cash Rewards is a scam

The survey Cash Rewards is a scam, I completed 2 sets of 6 surveys to receive $5 each in Amazon rewards, BUT since then I have completed 15 surveys with NO rewards.
So I wrote PCH and a rep responded via email and said I needed to complete 10 surveys to receive $5, Even though the site Cash Rewards instructions states 6 surveys NOT 10. So I am being SCAMMED out of rewards. I say to all who want to try PCH Cash Rewards “ DON’T “ use your time for better things.
PS All survey sites are SCAMS so being on PCH doesn’t make them any better. STAY AWAY

The group can start by looking back at…

The group can start by looking back at how you were and how you are now why are you employees turning bad and why are you letting them get out of hand is it because Daniell gives her self to the CEO and lets him have her way with her that’s self righteousness and it’s horrible and it shouldn’t go on auto corporation. You do not run the corporation like it used to be, there’s too much sin in the corporation you need to clean it up and it needs to stop now that find name a PCH is going down the tube. A lot of people are just satisfied with the way you are and for everyone there’s another hundred that thing the same way they do you need to get it together before you lose the corporation.

Learned my lesson

When PCH starts sending you emails it’s mostly to get you to order from them. Years ago I ordered a set of pillows from them, they where not good. I needed a prop to put my IPad on so I thought I’d give them another try. They came in a set of pairs. One is already broken and the other one is going fast. Lesson learned.

Wish I could give a Zero Stars!

Wish I could give a Zero Stars!

They sent me a catalog, saying they would send a gift of your choosing for the price of shipping and handling.

I chose an item and sent the card back, and then I got an email from then asking me to pay over $42.00 for this item (that is worth about $12.00).

It's classic bait-and-switch, and I don't know how they are allowed to get away with it

I haven’t placed any orders since April…

I haven’t placed any orders since April of 2021, nor were any of those orders back logged yet I received an email that a cat toy is being sent to me with an order date of July 19, 2021. The only cat toy I ordered back on April 12, 2021 I received on time with another item I had ordered for a total of $49.76, which I paid in full. I did not place any orders.
I call PCH’s “Customer Service” number noted in the email only to get an automated service that could not get me to a live person even after it said it would. It rang twice but I received dead air. I waited about 3 minutes and still no one answered.
Last night I tried filling out the Ask form and THAT didn’t recognize the item number I entered from their email! I entered the number manually and then tried copy/paste.
My account is not only up to date but PAID IN FULL and I will never order from them and have warned everyone in my building to throw their mailings out because of their excessive daily mailings: I receive no less than 3 a day with upwards of 6 in just ONE day!! Ridiculous.

Avoid inferior goods from Publishers Clearing House

I made the mistake of opening the envelop from Publishers Clearing House. Big mistake, I wish I had pitched it! I order two products. Sock, and insulated bags. Both were poor quality and overpriced. I could not be bothered with the hassle of a return so I just paid the bill and took it as a lesson to be learned from a bad experience. Less hassle! My recommendation, ignore their contests and bad products.

I purchased the Bell & Howell Tac Wallet. The product is horrible. You have to struggle to place the cards in it and then try to fold it to close is not at all easy.

Bad customer service and inferior products

I have ordered and received merchandise from Publishers Clearing House Orders that is many times inferior product and received WAY after it was ordered. I have decided not to order anything more from them and this is why.

Lately I received a battery operated Security Light. I thought it would be great out on my patio outside of my back door. The price was $19.95, shipping and handling was $7.99 and the tax was $1.89 for a grand total of $29.83. I received this item several days ago, bought batteries for it, and put it up yesterday. I notice when I got it that it seemed to be made cheaply, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Well, it hardly produces any light at all and isn't worth any amount of money let alone what I am being billed for it.

So I've tried to send a message to Customer Service on the PCH website, but it's next to impossible to find an email address to send a message to or to contact their Customer Service Department by phone. I called several times and after waiting for a LONG time for someone to answer the call, I finally gave up and hung up. This is horrible customer service. My time is valuable to me and right now, I don't feel like a very valued customer, to say the least. To make a long story short, I don't want this item, will gladly return it at PCH expense, but can't get a hold of anyone to tell them. I will not be ordering any more products from PCH because of their poor customer service and in many cases, cheap merchandise.
