The gym equipment and set up was good however the air con was on blasting out really cold air making the gym absolutely freezing on an already frosty morning. It was very uncomfortable.

Great staff always helpful especially free personal PT classes.
Its not intimidating with a very wide range of clientele

Over came my anxiety and gained my confidence
I haven’t been to the gym for about 10/12 years. It was very daunting for me going in myself but amy helped me and took me around all the equipment she explained about the classes etc I then went tonight and everything was pretty easy to work. Xlx

Puregym Airdrie is far better as a gym than it was an Aldi lol, very well laid out with all the equipment you would expect and more. I love that you can go in and just get your head down in peace and even when busy there is still plenty of equipment and stations to get a good workout in. Ive been to alot of gyms but PureGym just feels like home, oh and the enhanced membership with the Yanga water and bring a partner membership is fantastic also!

It was a very simple joining process and then lots of videos explaining how to enter the gym and use the equipment.

A fantastic experience

Used pure gym with a friend and wow, such a great experience for half the cost

Average. Not a great gym. Too many people holding up the machines. Most of the time sat on their phones and the staff don’t care. Classes aren’t in a great timetable and don’t dare cancel one within 4 hours! You get a black mark and that’s for classes that are practically empty.

Where possible, we ask that members share equipment between sets, to ensure that all members are able to get the most out of their workout. Although sometimes this isn't possible, and we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, we do ask that other members are taken into consideration when taking breaks between sets.
If you have any specific concerns relating to this matter, please speak with the Gym Manager where they will be able to assist further with this.

Nice big gym but not enough leg raise…
Nice big gym but not enough leg raise and hamstring machines...could do with another few of each as there could be 40 to 50 folk in training and only one of each.
Nice wee gym apart from that...Nice staff as well..they know their stuff

Terrible customer service ,please don’t join
Terrible the hope of talking to a human are none existent,through my daughter out for no reason other than she had no id on her at time ,manger Amy wouldn’t call me back or give me my money back after I cancelled membership immediately after abuse my daughter got. Also customer service got back to me 3days after I made a complaint and said they would launch investigation,that was 3 weeks ago ,no money back and no email since

Male changing area and washing facilities severely let the gym down everything else within the gym is top notch.

More of a crèche than a gym
More of a crèche than a gym , filled with teens , not interested in working out , just hanging around, getting in the way and being obnoxious

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.

Temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym.
