The gym is great and the staff are lovely but the toilets smell horrific. I can't believe people still wee on the seat and leave it and the toilet unflushed. Please bring back separate loos for women... Voir plus

Convenient, but poor maintenance and priority on weights hurts the experience.
Member for about 8 months. Convenient and easy location.
It wasn't great for anyone who is mainly cardio focussed to start with but recently cardio equipment has been removed to make way for even more weights equipment.
Cardio equipment is poorly maintained, treadmills especially. I have nearly slipped on treadmill belts that are too loose several times. Numerous machines are regularly out of order, and this can make accessing machines that are working difficult at peak times.

We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. Cancelled itself
Purchased a membership but my app says it’s been cancelled when I log in. I didn’t do this and haven’t even been to the gym yet so can’t have been suspended or missed a payment.
Can’t get into the gym now.

FOLKESTONE branch - the worst of the PureGym experience!
I travel a lot, hence the PureGym membership, but my personal misfortune is that I live in Folkestone, where you can find the worst PureGym in the country, in my experience.
Let's see:
- Regularly, no paper tissues or toilet paper.
- No or very low heating in the changing rooms/showers.
- A lack of any cleaning in the changing rooms, and most importantly, in the shower area.
- This is the second time this winter that there has been only cold water from the showers. Imagine finishing a workout and then going to work soaking wet in your own sweat. Nice.
- The rest of the time, the water is lukewarm, and the shower cut-off time is set to 20 seconds. 😀 They're definitely tight-fisted!
Hey PureGym, if the money's not enough, then raise the membership fee but offer a decent service.
This review is specifically for the Folkestone branch, as I have been to many, but this is by far the worst.

Opening hours are good
Opening hours are good
Variety of equipment is more so administrative reasons than the quality or design of the equipment
Staff will refuse to offer any assistance unless paying them extra aka personal training even to the point of members almost hurting themselves
Cleaning appears to be done less and less frequently as changing rooms are dirtier than ever before. Broken equipment stays broken for a long time before being fixed

Very easy to enrol
Very easy to enrol. It had saved my info from when I was a member before so didn’t have to re enter everything. Always a savings code to use.

Robbed me of my money and then didn't send me the code to use the gym.
I bought a day pass for 8.99, you didn't even send me the code to use it, I waited outside the gym for 35 minutes before going home. I still havent recieved the code, I want a full refund.

It was very easy to join PureGym…
It was very easy to join PureGym online, with immediate access if need be...I went along the next day and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of all amenities and availability of equipment and how well maintained the Gym was overall.

First time visit
First time visit. The ambience was good, friendly faces. As an older first timer I thought the gym might be full of muscular poseurs! It wasn't at all.
