Facilities and staff are very good. Fees are very competitive and great value. Some equipment could do with being replaced/upgraded quicker, especially those that are used excessively e.g. spin bikes.... Voir plus

Please note due to the situation of our gyms it isn't always possible to extend the site itself, however, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities where possible, so please keep an eye out for updates. You can bring your own clothes and towel and you can store them in the locker too while you workout.

Great first experience!
It was busy but not too busy! Plenty of equipment. The Manager and another member of staff were around and busy. The Manager was also super helpful when I had a question to ask. Great first time experience.

Is the air con broken?
Is the air con broken?
The gym is great apart from downstairs in the free weights area at Harrogate, there appears to be no air con, the air is hot and stuffy. It has been like this for the last 2 weeks!

Very nice gym
I was visiting for 2 weeks. Really enjoyed the gym and staff was very helpful. Thank you for offering 24/7 access. I was able to workout before my family got up and ready to head out for the day. I will definitely use your gym again.

Refurb made the gym worse!!
Since the recent refurb, the gym has too much equipment for the size of the gym, they have tried to cram far too much in!, it makes it an uncomfortable and much less pleasant place to train. Ironically, the men’s changing facilities are way too sparse!, with a large area of wasted space, which means, no matter how few people are getting changed, you always end up being on top of each other??

Our monthly memberships do require a UK valid debit account that accepts direct debits, we are not able to accept international payment methods or credit cards for this.
You can however purchase day passes with a credit card which can range from a 1 day pass to 30 day pass. For more long term memberships, you can purchase a fixed term (3-12 month) membership. This may be more beneficial for you. Thanks, PureGym.
Difficulty with Day Pass process
I am a member at Aylesbury. I went to Harrogate and found it very difficult to get a day pass. I think I bought 2 when I only wanted one, both provided me with a 4 digit PIN that did not work. In the end I buzzed for assistance and was helped by the Puregym staff. They gave me entry. No complaint regarding the Harrogate gym or staff. It was the process of securing a day pass

If you do already have an existing active membership you will be unable to purchase another under the same email address; including a Day Pass.
You can use an alternative email address, or we can look to add temporary access on for you. This would be £1-3 per day dependant on your chosen club.

Excellent gym lots of different gym equipment. Great staff fabulous atmosphere. Very clean all over the gym. Excellent changing rooms and showers. Great app with information.

Don't expect emails to be responded to. Everything is online but the rhetoric and reality as mismatched. 'Send the gym an email if you want to look around before joining'. Did so but no reply. Disappointing for someone new to gyms

Fix your Wi-Fi at Harrogate gym
Fix your Wi-Fi at Harrogate gym please. At first, I didn’t pay much attention to it but now it’s been a few weeks without reliable Wi-Fi and it becomes ridiculous that pure gym seems too ignorant to fix the issue. Get a new router or something. It’s not hard. I believe, every gym member would appreciate working Wi-Fi more than new flooring that took weeks too long to finish.
