Worth the money
Love the Mind sessions @ Letchworth. Gym always clean, easy to book lessons/classes. Mix of ages and abilities. Really convenient locations and 24 hours (not that I’ve been in the middle of the night!!).

They do not warn you in ur contract but…
They do not warn you in ur contract but you have to cancel ur membership 5 working days prior to ur payment due date and if u wanna cancel it they will charge u an extra 20 quid also when signing up they charge u an extra 20 quid there’s barely any showered limited equipment for how busy the gym gets don’t ever leave ur drink on the side they will put it in the bin and you cannot wear sliders but can go bear foot on the deadlift you cannot take ur shirt off in the lighting room but some of the staff are nice but u do occasionally get the odd one that’s extremely rude and unapproachable.

Members are able to cancel their memberships anytime or freeze their membership for up to 3 months (in a 12 month period), via the PureGym app or website, on the members area; as mentioned in our terms conditions, cancellations must be actioned 4 working days before the next payment is due: https://www.puregym.com/help-centre/freezing-or-ending/how-do-i-cancel-my-direct-debit-monthly-membership/. We do not add any fees to cancel a membership, but our missed payment process is outlined within the direct debit terms and conditions. Our gyms can get busy, especially during peak time, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym. If you have any further concerns, we would advise that you get in touch directly with the Gym Manager to provide more information (such as date and time or names etc.) so this can be investigated. Really nice friendly staff
Really nice friendly staff, clean and well equipped. Biggest problem is they won’t turn the aircon on and it’s like an oven in there . Many people have complained but nothing gets done ! Very disappointed

We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored.
All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes.

Overall great experience at Letchworth
Having started the Gym since it has opened, I have thoroughly enjoyed the classes there, particularly Liams classes, he keeps the energy alive, really pushes us with a potivie attitude, and keeps the Mind classes super relaxing, leaving me feeling so chilled and having had a good stretch. I Always leave Liams classes feeling super positive and with a smile on my face. Great chap!
Liam is an approachable PT and always goes above and beyond for any gym goer, whether that be in the class or outside the class.
I really look forward to Liam's classes, especially with his constant positive affirmations and motivation, makes me feel really proud of what I have achieved so far.
I have also attended other classes with Megan and Lee, who are also friendly and very encouraging, I always feel very good after their classes, and that i have pushed my self. In fact every PT at the gym, that I have been in contact with are super helpful and give great tips and advice when needed and are all very friendly.
I only have one negative which are the mats in the studio, they are really dirty, and I come away with grubby leggings after using them after each session, and they have actually caused my skin to breakout (when using the mats for mind classes or stretching). I believe they should be cleaned more often.

So far so good. So impressed with the gym, much more equipment than other gyms I’ve been to which have cost more! Liam thew is the best PT we’ve had for classes. KEEP IT UP LIAM!!!!!!! :)

The monthly cost for new members seems like a bit of a bargain in comparison to other gyms in the local area.
