Best gym experience ever
Really easy to register. Love the QR code access to the gym through the app. Love the impersonal nature of it all. Book on the app, turn up to the class, work out, leave. The person that was running the class was excellent at checking I was doing things properly & not hurting myself. Best gym experience ever.

Clean, plenty of equipment. Codes needed to enter and needed for the changing rooms - Very secure and feels safe during night and early morning

Vending machine drinks out of date
Upon entering the puregym site in rushden I went to purchase a protein shake from the vending machine. After consuming half the bottle it seemed to taste a bit weird. After looking at the best before end date it turned out that the shake was 3 months out of date. I later on during my workout felt unwell and had to leave early.
Being this was my first return to this gym in over a year I was massively let down by the standards in the drinks that were provided and especially after the fact I fell ill really put a dent on my return to fitness.

Unprofessional
Appalling behaviour from one PT in particular whose done nothing but harass women at this gym and make them feel uncomfortable. Multiple friends of mine cancelling their membership due to feeling uncomfortable. Should focus on training clients maybe instead of asking them to check their dating app matches

I had never been to a gym before, I went with my daughter. It was great! Good parking Did quite a few machines😁 clean friendly place 👍

Very good gym
Spacious, not too busy, lots of machines, dumbells and other equipment. Although there either wasn’t a free water filling station or I just couldn’t find it which is very likely

Equipment not kept clean
The equipment is not kept clean
The staff rather sit on there phones or chat to colleges, rather than checking equipment.
There are hardly any or no cleaning materials to wipe the equipment down.
Other members don’t seem to care how they leave equipment after uses.
Big shame that they have every available.

some difficulties upgrading
Had a friend membership with my husbands membership to try the gym to see if I wanted to join. This allowed me four visits which I used up but I could not see anyway to upgrade my membership to a full monthly membership even after husband removed me as his buddy. Have had to log out of app and start new membership with work email.
However gym is fab, multiple classes and equipment to choose from, enjoyed the four visits I've done so far. Gym is clean and well equipped, staff seem friendly and approachable.

Issue sorted quickly. Thank you
Had an issue with the app which meant a class had I cancelled, appeared as booked when I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. This was likely to lead to a no show strike. Emailed puregym member services and they sorted this out for me within 24 hours. Very helpful, thank you

Good facilities, rude staff
The facilities were good but both of the members of staff I came across were rude - for example one interrupting mid-set to say we were in the way of a class starting at 9am even though at the time it was 8:24am… a smile and some pleases and thank yous would go a long way!
