It is what it is, good working order, clean, not too busy.
It’d be good if the blue towel dispensers were topped up immediately before the staff shoot off for the day.
I shouldn’t struggle to hear a podcast during a workout. It would also be good if you could secure the Bluetooth on the ‘Functional’ stereo system. As there is tendency for other users to hijack the music over Bluetooth, max out the volume and play music that not to everyone’s taste. Occasionally it’s ok, but mostly not.

We provide all of our teams with bespoke music platforms created just for fitness classes which provide a wide range of motivating music specific to each class type PureGym offers. Staff should undertake regular volume checks for the safety and comfort of our members, but if you approach the Gym Manager with more info, including dates and time, they will be more than happy to look into this for you and ensure the music is kept at the expected volume. Overall Witney Pure Gym
Overall Witney Pure gym, is okay, but there are a few issues that really need attention. First, parking can be difficult during the day—there often aren’t enough spaces, and it seems like people from the nearby McDonald’s are using the lot as well.
Also, now that it’s winter, the air conditioning inside the gym is extremely cold. It’s running at full speed to the point where I can literally see steam when I breathe (btw I am dressed warm with long sleeves). Some machines are placed directly in front of the vents, so the cold air blows right onto me while I’m sweating, which has already caused me to start coughing. I’ve asked the staff several times to adjust the temperature, but I was brushed off each time. Like feedback doesnt matters for them.
I hope these issues can be looked into, as they really affect the overall experience.

The parking area is owned by an external company, not under PureGyms jurisdiction. That being said, we have placed additional signage and public notices to help prevent misuse of the car park. Air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, which is monitored by the gym team. Unsanitary ways of keeping equipment
The morning supervisor was wiping the equipment with a dirty rag and dirty water. It would have been easier to throw out the water and fill the bucket with clean new water, no that didnt happen. And she didn't even wear gloves as she cleaned. She also cleaned the shoe area then uses the same rag to clean the areas of equipment where one puts their hands.

Free weights and machines to busy
Free weights and machines to busy. Tried two different days at 6/6:30am didn’t even go in the weights were rammed you could see from walking past the windows. Went in at 4pm and I probably did 25min work over 45min just waiting for something to come free. Went a different day at 4:30pm, again left due to being too busy, Didn’t even start.
Very clean and staff were great which is why 2 stars. Just too many people.

Listen to the negative reviews they are not wrong
Worst pure gym I have experienced, the gym itself is nice, however the management is not. Same issues still persist from years ago and they are basic managerial care duties. Frequent empty cleaning bottles and empty syrup in sports water, no action and not believed when flagged a faulty cardio machine, I am starting to think all these annoyances are a very deliberate business strategy to limit the amount of members using the club.
Risking people Health and safety should never be used in this way and I know I am not asking too much of you Pure gym!

Probably the worst pure gym I have been…
Probably the worst pure gym I have been to. Don't go to this gym if you are serious about your training. They don't have enough machines and even if you come during off peak hours you are still waiting 10 - 15 minutes to use a machine. The quicker they build a gymgroup in witney, the better. They don't have safety pins to do rack pulls and there no pec deck machine, so I can't even follow my workout routine properly.

Good fitness centre
It's always nice in Puregym. The staff are helpful and friendly. It's always clean and tidy, except the bags of those people who are too good to put them in lockers. My only gripe is, when it's busy people need to put their phone in their pockets and just get on with the task at hand.

PureGym great for Premier Inn
I'm staying at the Premier Inn in Whitney right next to the PureGym which along with uts 24 hour opening makes it very convenient. There is also a very good range of gym equipment.

First time reveiw
The first time I approached the Gym I was greeted cheerfully and was shown around the Gym before making my mind up. Everything was made every clear to me including the payment plans etc.

Awful Smell
The Gym is okay, good equipment, facility good, not crowded in different times. However, the smell at the gym was unbearable. If it was stinking because of the closed automatic doors, or the air conditioning, I don't know, but it was horrible more than once.
Could just imagine how terrible it could be during the summer. Definitively, some action to take it there. The changing room same poor situation.

Everything is good
Everything is good, except it is too cold in winter. Not everyone do intense exercise to warm up to a comfortable body temperature.

Temperatures in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym

Joining was ok but the price for what you pay needs to change and some of the equipment is always broken or facilities toilets are dirty witney Oxfordshire gym I have spoken with the manager on the day ab the equipment issues and other issues also car park is a problem

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
