Terrible experience! Inspector came out to look at a raft foundation.
Told me ti take pictures as were concreting and fitting mesh.

Then to be told there is no evidence and i didn’t give them time to inspect.!

The inspector who came out as just kept quiet even though she said take pics and its fine.

Then wouldn’t pass raft and was influenced by the customer to not pass it.

Even though i had structural engineer calcs.

Corrupt and all stick together and lay!

Especially lincoln branch

Use local authority from now on

After a timely initial engagement with them, pay their full fee over 1k straight away at least 6 months ago now we're getting radio silence, no one in the company have had the dignity to come back to us or our architect for them to undergo the building control. We've tried to go all the way up and nothing, not even responding to our request for refund. This company/scam is a disgrace and hope they go into liquidation any time soon.

Please avoid this company been trying for nearly three years to get them to put things right. They passed our extension off on photos supplied by the builder. Wish we had used our councils building control dept as we had in the past. Quadrant won’t even discuss the matter, we have reported them and builder to our local trading standards dept and urge other people to do the same. This company keeps providing sub standard service and keeps getting away with it, avoid like the plague.

Stay away from them, lack of response, doesn’t rerun calls and take them 3-4 days to respond to emails, the full fee paid and it was trouble as the job left hanging, will complain to Trading Standards

This company doesn't even deserve 1 star. They signed off a house I purchased and I found so many building faults it's cost me thousands to put right and they don't care. Their first response 'there is a disclaimer on the bottom of the certificate' I've tried their governing body but that's all chums together so they can just carry on being useless at their job and charging thousands, and the little man just had to put up with it! Don't touch this company unless you want something dodgy passing, then it's right up their street

WOULD NOT recommend Quadrant Building Control to ANYONE.
Quadrant Building Control are disobliging, inarticulate and extremely un professional. They DO NOT arrive on site when stated they will, if at all!! Communication is atrocious.
The primary function of any Building Control Service is to protect people's Health & Safety in the Built Environment..CERTAINLY NOT QUADRANT BUILDING CONTROL
Would recommend any other professional Authority.

With 50 years experience and have never had to submit anything like this.

When a professional body like Quadrant Building Control, ignores the person who pays the bills, then you know they'll be problems. And there were ! Communication is key in every industry, especially when so much money is being invested.
