I had previously set up car insurance with the same insurer through a different broker. However, after using Quotezone, I cancelled that policy within the 14-day cooling-off period and bought the exact same policy here at a much better rate. Highly recommend!

Not helpful at all. Just forwards your details onto a load of companies rather than giving you quotes to review

Obtained a quote for my house insurance on the 10th, but still have no email confirmation or policy details, 7 days later.

So asked my credit card company to charge back the transaction, as not heard from my insurer and don’t even know the name of 5he company!

Emailed (no phone number on their website) QuoteZone several times and had a couple of lame responses, but nothing after that for the last three days

Hopeless!

Quicker than other quotes.
Did not pester me with emails.
Best price too over others.

My renewal was high, so checked the comparison sites for a better deal. Quotezone was far & away the best value

The cheapest quotes were from Hastings Direct which said it was an app only based policy and that’s why it was cheaper. I specifically didn’t want a policy that monitored my driving with a black box or anything, so filtered that out but still got quotes for Hastings Direct that require you to download a tracker on your phone. There was no mention of having to allow Hastings to download a tracker on my mobile for 30 days until I took out and paid for the policy. I then had a ridiculously drawn out and complicated battle to get the policy cancelled and my money back. This has put me off using Quotezone again in the future as it’s not transparent at all. Avoid Hastings Direct, they’re an awful company with many bad reviews which I wish I’d checked beforehand.

We must have used them previously so they emailed again. Tried a quote and was easy - they had kept all our previous information so just had to confirm. When we came for the results - we didn’t get any - just a list of about 4 companies who might quote. We immediately started getting phone calls from interested companies. One said they’d put me through to “the team” and I was immediately put on hold - so after a couple of minutes I gave up. The next one said they’d put could give me a quote but wanted all the information again, which was going to take another 10 minutes. I asked if the information had been passed on and they said no. Seems little point completing the request when you have to repeat everything again.

I tried to purchase travel insurance. I couldn't find 2 conditions so went through the chat bot got a human to text with. The human was obviously not very interested in helping me. He kept telling me to use the same searchs I'd tried then immediately after telling me what to try he would send "can i help you with anything ekse" we hadn't resolved the issue this happened 5 times. Even after telling him that it sounded like you want rid of me and quoting his quote he still continued at one point he advised me to put the condition down as something else as that would do (my insurance would then be null and void) shocking advice from them.
