I got quote and they said that they had good reviews ect the job was a reroof and my chimney stack removing he said I wouldn't have to pay until I was completely satisfied cost £9.250 within days the scaffolding was up and the job was started. We had heavy rain and gales so the mess that was created was far worse than if had been fine weather and my cladding then needed replacing I asked him if he could do it for me and let me know the extra cost which was an extra £1630.00 he then added extra because he said the wood below the chimney stack was rotten and added £800 onto the total. The lads were great really hard working and in bad conditions the man who owned the roofing business wasn't there he came back intermittently. When the job was finished he asked me immediately for £11560 he said I have to pay the lads I said what about the cleaning up my aerial was down my troughs and gutters were full of debris on my drive on my garden it looked awful. I said I will send you £10.000 and withhold the rest until you clean all the mess up, we can't until the scaffolding is down so two days later it was taken down Tom sent two young lads around who tried but it was still a mess. I said I still wasn't happy happy it was awful cut a long story short he harassed me for the money I held back and I just paid to stop him bullying. I ended up having to pay for a new aerial, power washing the drive and a clean up of my garden from the screws nails and debris and my troughs cleaned £1800. The work itself okay not seen him with my 20 year guarantee that was promised upon full payment. Would I use him again NO would I recommend him NO because he promised me I would be 100% happy and don't pay until I was completely and he uses bullying tactics to the elderly until they pay up.
