6 seater Marston dining set.Poor quality furniture. Arrived in scruffy condition with scratches on glass top ,rattan itself was dirty and scratched. It looked like it was pre owned not brand new.

Lovely quality furniture
Lovely quality furniture. We have had the furniture for about 18 months now & it is as good as the day we bought it. We store the cushion pads inside after use and they have not faded or flattened

Highly recommend
I’ve had my garden furniture for just over 3 years now and it is so smart and robust still, I had to leave a review!
Customer service was excellent from start to finish. Great communication and updates throughout.
The delivery and careful assembly really topped it off - the set was unwrapped and assembled on site (including a clean and polish of the glass table top) so can’t be faulted.
I will be using them again and really rate the quality of the set.

Noticeably better than the cheaper rivals
I bought a couple of loungers five years ago and they still look brand new! The quality is excellent and noticeably better than the cheaper rivals I was tempted to buy. The covers, which were included in the price, are also excellent and completely waterproof which means we can safely leave the (very deep!) cushions on the sun beds throughout the year. Very happy to recommend Rattan Direct!

It’s just over five years since I…
It’s just over five years since I bought my garden furniture set and it still looks as good as when new. It’s left outside all year but covered and has lasted really well.

Possibly the worst customer service…
Possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I order three items at the start of July 2025 for my static caravan. As I am not always at this address delivery timescale was important. It stated all items were in stock and would be delivered in 3 weeks. After3 weeks and no information I contacted them to be told they were moving warehouses and couldn’t deliver my order as planned. I waited another month before I received the first part of my order ( after chasing it) . I paid for platinum service to have the furniture assembled and the packaging taken away. When the courier ( and I use that word loosely, it was a man and a van) arrived they told me they don’t do this! I was then responsible for unpacking an huge corner patio set and removing two car loads of boxes. After another month I contacted them ( they never ever contacted me) to ask where the rest of my order was, at this point it was the September and the summer was over. They told me they could deliver part of the outstanding order but the rest was out of stock and wouldn’t in stock until the Spring! I arranged delivery and I asked that they cancel the out of stock item and refund me. Again I received delivery from the man in the van who once again told me that they don’t do the platinum service, this time I insisted they phone to check, and after much glaring at me, they begrudgingly agreed that yes they would do it, as I had paid for it! It is now 5weeks since I requested my refund but they have told me the invoicing system is down… for 5 weeks?? I have not received any communication from them and had to contact my bank to receive a refund through my credit card provider. How this company get any reviews with more than one star I have no idea. Whilst the quality of the furniture is in fact very good, I am horrified at the completely unprofessional disrespectful and dishonest way I have been treated My advice is AVOID AVOID AVOID.

From what you’ve described, multiple service failures occurred, ranging from delays during our warehouse transition, to unclear communication around delivery timescales, to inconsistencies with the platinum assembly service, and finally the extended wait for your refund. This is far from the level of service we aim to provide.
I can see how frustrating it must have been to repeatedly chase updates, deal with unexpected issues with the delivery service, and then have to seek a refund through your bank when it should have been handled promptly by us. Your feedback highlights areas where our communication, logistics coordination, and refund processes need improvement.
While I’m glad to hear you were satisfied with the quality of the furniture, I understand that the overall experience has overshadowed this, and I’m sorry we did not deliver a service that matched the product.
Your feedback has been shared internally with our logistics, customer service, and refunds teams so we can learn from this and act on the gaps you’ve experienced first-hand. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Very poor customer service …
Rattan Direct were great a few years ago but I have been exasperated by my latest purchase. Ordered at the end of April, my purchase was due in June and did not show as out of stock when I ordered. I chased and chased qnd chased. At no point did they proactively contact me. They no longer have a phone number to contact so it was all email which took a couple of days each time. My purchase eventually arrived end October. So frustrated and annoyed by this company.

Great outdoor entertaining furniture.
The quality of our large outdoor table and chairs is fabulous and we have had them a few years now. We love them. Small issue with one chair got sorted quickly.
