Bikril Matt Exterior Emulsion Bikril Matt is a water-based acryl-vinyl emulsion designed for façade protection and decoration. It offers long-term durability for both exterior and interior surfaces. Delivering a tough, flexible coating, it resists cracking, flaking and peeling even in highly changeable weather. With high opacity, excellent coverage and breathable properties, it ensures reliable and consistent results in demanding conditions. Preparation and Compatibility Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and structurally sound. For new substrates, allow curing for at least 28 days. Remove any efflorescence, oils, and loose particles. Sand polished or glossy surfaces lightly to improve adhesion. For porous or powdery substrates, use a suitable primer: Primerlite for general surface consolidation Hidrocril for interior applications Application Conditions Stir thoroughly before use. Apply by brush, roller or spray in ambient temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC. Do not apply on hot substrates or in high humidity (above 80%). Avoid painting in windy conditions or with the risk of rain, as water contamination before full drying may cause surface blemishes ("snail track" blistering). Ensure surface temperature is at least 3ºC above the dew point. Allow a minimum of 6 hours between coats; no maximum interval is required. Two coats are recommended for best results.
