The absolute worst. This is the second time I have taken a car with RentPlus.

The issue is a customer service one. Last week, I was sold an insurance policy after being told the "Zurich UK Full Insurance" policy I took out with Booking.com when I booked the car in fact didn't provide me with full cover.

In addition, I was told that "it wasn't insurance at all."

I wasn't convinced, but decided to take out the extra cover they suggested at the time, as my flight was delayed arriving into Prague and we needed to get away stress-free without insurance worries.

After I returned the car, I contacted Booking.com to query this, who were great. They confirmed my suspicions that my Zurich policy indeed did give me full cover, so I didn't need that other policy. They also kindly said would refund the cost of the Zurich policy for me (even though the RentPlus scam had nothing to do with them).

I emailed RentPlus afterwards to ask them for receipt of the insurance they charged me, so I could forward to Booking.com for my Zurich refund, and to state my unhappiness with the service I received. I also mentioned I would leave them a poor Trustpilot review if they didn't adequately try to resolve the situation themselves.

Lo and behold, they simply sent my receipt over, without a single word to address my concerns. They simply wanted to get shot of me.

While I'm being refunded for the Zurich policy, I'm still slightly out of pocket, as the unnecessary policy RentPlus sold me was the more expensive of the two.

So there you have it. I won't be using RentPlus again. The car itself was great and very clean. However, their desk staff are rude and -- judging from my own experience and others on Trustpilot -- they seem to want to rip customers off.

I rented a car from Brno Airport in Czechia. The representative charged me nearly £100 as an approved payment, along with a £1,500 authorization hold. Upon returning the car, I was informed that the £100 fee was for insurance to waive any excess charges. I want to clarify that I did not ask for this insurance, nor did I sign anything to obtain it. I already have travel insurance that would cover any excess charges for a rental. I've attempted to contact them, but I've received no response.

Under the rental we discover that we have one day short on the contract. We tryed to call 31 times to talk to them and sent one email. They did not pick up the phone. Noe anwer on sms either. When we leaved the car the staff said evertything was okay and the depositum would be sendt back the same day. Now it`s 6 week sinse we\re home. Noe depositum back and no answer on telfone ore amail.

Too bad I did not read the reviews before renting with this company.
I booked for a low price, than they tell you you will be hugely charged for any scrach to push you into buying their full cover. They said one price and charged much much higher. Then I was a bit late, again they overchared me.
STAY AWAY!!!

Absolute scumbags. Car was OK, had some damage at pickup that wasn't registered but I managed to get photo evidence before I drove away - previous reviews show a habit of charging for existing damage. Sadly for me they presented a very badly worded document with poor grammar about their cross-border policy. Thinking I was OK to go into EU countries I picked up a charge of 3x the rental price to go 2kms into Germany where I told them before time that I was going. These guys are EVERYTHING I cannot stand about shady rental companies with zero integrity. Their 'cheap' sticker prices are irrelevant when you read how many people they scam with various policies and small-print you would have to read 4 times to comprehend. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. No doubt they will blame their contract on lack of English but they know full well what they are doing and are using it as a cash machine. Read the other reviews here! These charges were sneaked onto my card with no emailed receipt so that I hopefully don't spot it too. Weak.

We had a flight to Prague from Manchester

on the way to purge - we had 2 hours delay - so we arrived in Prague after 23:00 and the car rental company in Prague told us that we needed to pay 150 EURO (rentplusprague) because we were late and we didn't order from them directly and we ordered from economybooking.

I wish someone would have told us that we will pay 150EURO for that, it's not my fault that we arrive late. plus more people were there and I don't understand why they want from each person such a high amount of money, it doesn't make sense - I wanted to cancel but the guy at the counter told me that I have to pay for the rental anyways - if I don't take the car I still pay.

This car rental service add's conditions that weren't there when booking through international brookers and their T&C's from abroad. Additional high fees occurred although full insurance pack was purchased. Just avoid - staff not helpful at all. Staff members reaction clearly showed that this is their business model to deal with tourists from abroad.

SCAM of a company. DO NOT USE! They try to charge a ridiculous deposit and then charge more than 50% cancellation fee. AVOID THIS COMPANY. THey do not answer their phone or escalate. Scamming company
