I love that restaurant gift cards don't expire. I do wish that more restaurants in my area participated! If your fave restuarant is on here... you should 100% buy the gift cards and treat yourself to a some extra food/drinks!

Lost my certificates
I had gift certificates from the old app, they disappeared and I found out that now I have points but not able to redeem for $5 so if I exchange my point I lose $ because I exchange 2500 points for only $20, where’s the $5 option?

Just to clarify: your points never expire, and 2,500 points equals a $25 Restaurant.com certificate. You can redeem your points for any available dining deal listed on our site — there's no forced downgrade in value, and no requirement to redeem for $20 instead of $25.

I always check Restaurant.com before we go on vacation to check if any restaurants on on there. We have tried some new ones because we got a certificate and we still go there years later. I live a good deal!

Great when it works, need more options
I have used Restaurant.com for years and had many good experiences at home and when traveling. However, I find it less and less useful. There are very few if any restaurants in Delaware and certainly in the middle and southern Delaware areas. I have also run into situations where the restaurants have said they no longer accept the certificates. The Middletown and Smyrna areas of Delaware have grown tremendously in the last 10-15 years and continue to grow rapidly, yet still few if any new opportunities on Restaurant.com.
When it works it is great. I just wish there were more options in the Middletown, Smyrna and Dover areas. I most frequently am looking for casual places like pizza, cheesesteaks, burgers and ice cream places.

Super easy to use
Super easy to use. I like that I can buy Restaurant.com vouchers and am able to transfer them. Especially during Covid when a lot of places either no longer acceted them or went out of business. The app makes it a lot easier to use for me and for restauarants.

Mostly Good
I have had many delicious meals at some of the participating restaurants and it is always nice to receive the discount/savings when paying my bill.
I have also had the unfortunate experience of dining in a restaurant and subsequently learning they will not accept the certificate even though the restaurant is still on the website.

I have been using Restaurant.com for many years. What is great about using them is the gems I have found over the years. Yes, sometimes I have dined at a restaurant because of the offer on Restaurant.com and found the restaurant below average, but this has been exceedingly rare, and at least I got to try the place at a discounted rate. But this is more than offset by the many gems I would never have found if not for Restaurant.com. We have found five over the years that consistently rate five stars and many more above-average places. Each gem is in our top restaurants we frequent, and we dine out at least 5 nights a week. For example, we found a Jewish deli in San Diego, Elijah's, on Restaurant.com. It has exquisite corned beef sandwiches. Whenever we go to San Diego, we always stop at Elijah's. The other is Trupiano's Italian Bistro in Fallbrook. This is way off the beaten path for us, but we try to visit Trupiano's at least every other month. They have outstanding food, and the service is always fantastic. We love their stuffed mushroom appetizer and several Italian dishes and pizzas. If you have never tried Restaurant.com, give it a try. I am certain you, too, will find that gem that you will return to frequently. In the worst case, you get to try new places for less. I understand they are now under new management, and I am already starting to see some wonderful improvements.

I’m still waiting on my refund! I have 4 unused SoGo coupons that I was supposed to get refunded for since they no longer take the coupons. I can’t even sign in to my account on the app. I’ve been cheated and robbed.

If you have unused restaurant certificates, you can exchange them for a new restaurant at any time, for any reason—no questions asked. We don't offer refunds due to the flexibility of our exchange policy, where your points will never expire and can always be exchanged.
If you're having trouble with the app, please ensure your operating system is updated and you're using one of the top browsers like Safari or Chrome. While our app is optimized for the most prevalent devices and browsers, occasionally a user will experience a glitch. You can also try deleting and reinstalling the app. That has worked for others.
Additionally, our website is mobile optimized, and you can always access your account on the restaurant.com website.

I like that these certificates do not…
I like that these certificates do not expire. There are many selections to choose from. If I decided to want to switch to a different certificate, I can get credit for the one snd buy a different one. The only issue I have is if there are discount offers, if I am using my points, it won't allow me to use the discount.
