Avoid at all costs

If i could give zero stars review i would .
Ordered a Goddo anniversary TShirt on July 1st . My credit card was billed immediately . Got an email with order number and then a tracking number . After a couple months i still had not received my order . No update at all from Rockpapermerch . Tried emailing but all it does is refer you to their FAQ . I finally sent a text to the number they provided and got a reply from somebody saying they would check with the warehouse and get back to me . Weeks went by and i heard nothing . I texted again and then i was told order was lost at the warehouse and he would issue me a refund . Over a month since and I still never got a refund nor any communication from them . What a joke this vendor is . Avoid at all costs

Why I will never order from Rock Paper Merch again

This website offered items for sale advertised with Whiz Delivery Next Day.

Ordered and waited for a week with no updates. Contact the company via e-mail and got an automated reply. It asks you to wait a few days for e-mail replies, or to text a number to get an update.

Waited multiple days, tried e-mail again. Waited again. Finally decided to text them to get an update.

Text 1 Reply: They are checking with the warehouse and will provide an update.

After no update, I follow-up again.

Text 2 Reply: They are following up with the warehouse again and told me to read the FAQ.

At this point, being 3 weeks delayed for an item sitting in a warehouse, I read you can request a refund of the item.

Text 3 Reply: They confirmed at 7PM they will reach out to accounting on Monday to issue a refund.

All of a sudden they e-mail at 12:30AM saying they have now shipped the item, but it's not picked up yet.

This company has built in a process to delay you to get updates. Hoping you will just let it drag out until they are ready. Their FAQ said you can request a refund anytime it's not shipped, but as soon as you do, they send out a shipment status update to block the refund. This is my opinion on how it looks based on what has happened to me.

As a Canadian I tried to support a local company, but will continue to instead buy from Amazon and my local record stores.

The item was released in 2023. It's been sitting in a warehouse, not a pre-order. There is no good reason to say next day shipping and ignore and provide no updates for over 3 weeks.

Feedback to the owner:

All you had to do was not tell me to read the FAQ again and say something like: We are sorry for the delay and have escalated the issue to our warehouse team as they did not get back to me yesterday.

Avoid RPM at all costs

Man, oh man, what a joke this company is. Not feeling like writing a long novel about everything that went wrong, suffice it to say that i would never recommend doing business with this company (unless you feel like running after people to find out anything). Ridiculous wait tomes for shipping and email responses. Want to support Canadian, but these guys give every reason not to. Get from Discogs, LRS, hell even Amazon. Stay away from rock paper merch.

Worst business experience ever. Ordered merchandise in August 24

Ordered merchandise in August 24, 2024 for remembering Neil Peart from Rush. They took the money from my credit card on that date. I received the merchandise Feb 12, 2025 minus the T-Shirt my husband liked the most. I was refunded that amount 3 days ago. I continued to contact them throughout the year asking where our merchandise was. When they finally told me it was being sent, I told them I didn't want it. When I question about the order, they haven't read my emails or answer me correctly. If I could score them in the minus based on customer service it would be -10. Never order from this company. They take your money and don't send the merchandise in a timely manner.

Horrible

Tried every means to contact them. Chat, text, phone, email and even posted on their FB page. Finally got a response by text basically saying the only way to contact them is text. Their website as far as any concerns is very miss leading and untrue. I think there is a word for that?
Used this company as a proud Canadian and wanted to support a Canadian company. I don't know how they can sleep at night.

I am in the 4th month of waiting for an…

I am in the 4th month of waiting for an order... and the 2nd month of waiting for another order... yes. I am foolish... I keep getting the same, yet slightly varied response of "I'll check with the warehouse"... "it should have shipped, let me check on that" or - "I'll notify the warehouse and we'll include something extra for the delay"... hmmmm ... hope springs eternal. But that is all I have... no merch... just hope.

Nightmare webshop - with semi happy end

This has got to be one of the most nerve-wracking, excruciating experiences I have had in 25 years of online shopping. At first I thought that there was malicious intent, but it turns out that they are just unprepared for certain situations and severely lacking basic customer support skills and/or tools. The chain of events: I placed an order on June 26, 2023 for two items, that were advertised as exclusive early releases. One of the items became widely available at retailers in July, 2023. Months go by without any information about the status of my order. It turns out the order was shipped on November 21, 2023 without any notification of shipment being sent out. On December 9, 2023 I was told by customer support that my order was on the way. Since nothing happened, I contacted them again one month later and received a reply that it had been delivered to an address in New Jersey (it turned out to be their warehouse). Being located in Vienna, Austria I have had mail misdirected to Australia or Vietnam, so I don't think much of it and continue to wait. Since again, after a number of days no items are delivered and no update is sent, I review all the communication with RPM thoroughly. It seems they have an "order page" that's continuously updated and that is only linked to in the original order confirmation. There I find a tracking number and to my dismay realize that I made a mistake in the street address. The package had been returned to the sender. It is February 19th when I realize this. I immediately contact RPM but they seem to have no clue what happened. Apparently I am the first customer to ever mistype their shipping address. Multiple times I describe to them exactly what happened. I need to stress that the reply time is often more than a week making this whole experience even more frustrating. Since I really wanted to have the item I place another order on February 20 (I purchased the other item in the original order already many months ago at a local shop). On February 28, finally RPM gets back to me and tells me, that they received back the original order which was never picked up due to having a bad street address. It was waiting to be picked up at the post office 1km from my home without me knowing about it. Tracking history shows that it had been returned on January 3 and received back on January 11 - but I guess at their warehouse in New Jersey and they still had to get it to their shop in Canada. I discover later that this is due to the fact that they moved their entire inventory from one warehouse to the other, leaving them unable to locate or quantify their stock for MONTHS. So RPM tries to come up with solutions, suggesting to ship the two orders together, to which I agree. Fast forward to late April 2024 when I finally receive the second order (we are talking about a fulfillment time of two months) but of course without the items of the first order. At this point in time, I'm about to give up especially since I have to go through the events over and over again with their customer service agent (it also appears that they confused my order/claim history with that of another person).

FINALLY, on May 25 I receive the long awaited email and proof that my first order now had also shipped. Today, on June 19, 2024 I picked up the order from the post office - almost 365 days after I placed it on their website.

As I pick it up, the first thing that throws me is that it STILL has the wrong address despite me telling them 20 times about the error and the corrected street address. At least now I was able to claim ownership of the package as I had been given a tracking number.

Upon arriving at home, I open the package and realize that the complimentary, SG-branded shot glass they added broke into a thousand pieces. The outer sleeves of the LPs both have bumped corners and the inners seam splits due to lack of protection inside the box.

I am somewhere between anger and amused bewilderment. At least the ordeal is over.

Poor Customer Service

I ordered 2 items (order #13409, if RPM reads this) in April and haven't received them. I have contacted RPM SEVERAL times to no avail. Requested a refund and no response.
Save yourself the hassle and skip RPM.

Pre-order scam?

Ordered 15 Jan 2024; a 25th anniversary album I want had an original release date of mid March. The RPM site claimed there are supply-chain issues of not having vinyl to press the LPs, so to be fair "No Spoilers", shipment of the CDs are also on hold and the date was changed to late March... then mid April then late April then mid May then late May, and now NO estimated release date at all even though I pre-ordered all the way back in January when the release was first announced. They already took my money, but every email asking for any kind of update just gets the same automated FAQ reply. About to unfollow the artist on all media and leave discouraging remarks since they were the people who suggested using RPM's site.

RPM is provided products from the Artists we represent we do not own or manufacture any products. When shipments are late or inventory is shirt we wait as long as possible as to fill orders and will always issue refunds on request. We also have a direct contact line in our FAQ.

Poor customer support

My order was incorrect and I contacted them to get the item replaced or my money back and they proceeded to ghost me. It is now going on 6 weeks and they will not respond to my emails. Do not buy from this company.

Poor customer service

I ordered a sweatshirt which hasn't arrived. I contacted customer service to find out whether it had been shipped, but wasn't told the truth - for example, I was told by email on the 5th of February that the item had been shipped on the 11th of February (so in the future). I was also told that the shipping was delayed because I had bought a CD, which I hadn't. The emails were abrupt and rude. - their typical response was just to keep resending me the same email. I won't be buying from them again.

I ordered two items mid-december

I ordered two items mid-december, and as of now I still haven't received the items. In fact, they haven't even been shipped yet.

I have tried to get in contact with them several times. Each time it takes quite a while for them to get back, and last week as I was awaiting shipping information I got an update, where they realized they did not have the size I ordered. after waiting 6 weeks! :(
