Had another great day with Charis, this time on a pallet furniture making course. Great fun, learned a lot and would definitely recommend.

The whole experience with charis and her team is amazing . So inspiring! She really does a great job at what she does . By the end of it you feel really confident in what you did and
Makes me want to do all her courses ! I have two under the belt so far and will do more . The whole work shop is run so efficiently and even how her van is packed with so much tools and equipment looks like a puzzle
She has perfected ! There clearly is a lot of work and creativity that goes into what she does and it’s truly inspiring to be a part of that . Makes you feel you can do anything you put your mind to. She has a great way of teaching and shows lots of encouragement. Such a great idea . We need more of charis and her team in the world ! 💪🏻

We had an amazing time at the beginner tool course. We had an in depth explanation of each tool.
We was quite nervous to begin with however as soon as it started we had an amazing time.
The course was all very inclusive as it allowed a massive age range.
I highly recommend this course.

Great communication from booking through to just before the day of the course. I booked the beginners 1 & 2 Power Tools and I was so glad that I did both on the same day.
Charis & Jess looked after all of us so well. So professional, well organised and informative.
I learnt so much and it was reinforced by guiding us to hold and use every bit of the equipment.
I’m now feeling more confident to tackle more DIY and my mind is a buzz with ideas.
I’ll definitely be booking up for more courses.

Charis the Salvage queen didn't disappoint. Learned so much in her power tools class. She's a great teacher and obs knows her stuff. She makes it fun and interesting and enormously patient with the newbies. Loved it!! Highly recommended!

The experience was very enjoyable - and really nicely fills that gap between wanting to start work with wood and the tools you need to to use and actually getting started. I feel a lot more confident to start working on projects now.

An awesome 8 weeks! Have learnt so much about something I knew nothing about.
I wanted to make wooden extensions for some blown glass objects I had made. Charis, Sophie and Jess could not have been more helpful. Not to mention skilful!

Did the pallet furniture workshop the other day and it was fabulous. Amazing fun, challenging but with plenty of supervision and Charis and Soph were great fun and excellent teachers can’t recommend enough!

Charis knows her stuff and takes the time to show you the correct way to do things and she covers all the safety guidelines. She makes it fun and its very hands on for each person but if you get stuck Charis & Sophie always help you make things work. Inspiring. Well impressed.

The powertools workshop was brilliant! All the little details were explained with recommendations for tools to use. No question felt insignificant and it was great to meet lots of other women who also needed guidance in household handy jobs.

Fantastic Beginner power tools class… clear, useful and lots of fun. Would highly recommend !!

Great day with Charis and Soph at Salvage Sister on their Powertools for Beginners Part 1 and Part 2.
Difficult to know where to begin to describe. So empowering and enabling. Delivered in an informative and fun way. Cannot actually explain what it does for your confidence to come away knowing that you have the skills to handle so many power tools from drills to angle grinders from pallet pullers (who knew?) to chop saws and so much more. Honestly life changing. Arrived thinking I wanted to learn how to drill holes to put up some shelves, left believing I could make the shelves and the wall brackets (and that's just the start).

Just completed the 1 day pallet workshop and it was the best decision to sign up. Charis & Sophie were fabulous, funny, knowledgeable & supportive. Very engaging teaching style, loved it. I ended up building a shelving unit and now have to make 3 or 4 more! I may have to go again to make a chair! And sign up for the creative class! It was a great day, met lots of new people and learnt new skills.

Fantastic day! Loved every moment of it. Learnt loads in a great fun relaxed atmosphere. Was incredibly anxious about going but once there all the worries were soon gone. Going to be booking onto another course when time allows!

Excellent evening spent learning how to use power tools. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn new skills. I came away feeling confident to tackle some DIY projects and competent to buy the tools needed!

What an awesome evening getting introduced to power tools (part one)… Charis and Sophie’s approach and teaching style makes for a relaxed learning environment and a fun atmosphere. Everything was explained clearly and we each had a go on each of the tools with individual instruction (for each person every time) and safety support! I wish I found this course years ago! I am so excited to do more!!

I attended a pallet furniture workshop with Cheris. What a brilliant day and really enjoyable. Extremely informative, we were taken through the tools we would be using and two methods of breaking down a pallet. It was amazing to see what people manage to achieve and make from wood that would be thrown away. I highly recommend it and hope to book more in the future.
