I had a smart car from Loughborough sandicliff James sold us the car . I had only had the car a week and the engine management light came on . We took the car back after a lot of frustration trying to speak to someone and getting passed from one customer desk to another . We finally decided to go to the showroom and speak to an actual
Person , Darren said he would take care of us . Well he didn’t really he didn’t phone us when he said he would and he now as the car in the work shop being fitted with a coolant valve he said the actual job would be about 1 hour . We are now on Thursday and still no car and no word from anyone I tried ringing today just felt I was being fobbed off . I had the car on the 1st of April and only had it a week to enjoy and not seen it since 🙈it’s been the most appalling after care I have ever experienced . Never will I recommend this company to anyone or buy anything from them again . I just hope I get my car back tomorrow which will be Friday we will see
I bought a lovely Audi Q2 from Sandicliffe and dealt with Dionne from start to finish, she was amazing. However, I picked the car up in the dark due to living so far away and once I got home I realised there were some issues, there’s a big scratch in the paint going down the boot and, a massive hole in the roof lining as well as scratches all along the internal roof. I’ve tried to resolve this with them and Dionne has passed the information over to her manager in February. It is now April and I still haven’t had even a response from Sean. I’ve emailed him directly to try and resolve the matter but I am being point blank ignored! Terrible customer service from management.

I had a very positive experience with the dealership from start to finish. The team was professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout the process. I would especially like to highlight Errol, who provided outstanding customer service. He was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to ensure all my questions were answered. I found two MG HS on Sandicliffe website. Both located at Loughborough.
I completed the on line form and requested two personalised videos. Plus I raised a few questions about both vehicles.
I was put in contact with Richard Doolan. I had one missed call. Message left with just the name of the”Richard Doolan”
I hadn’t heard anything. So I sent an email reminding Richard Doolan and to also high light I had enquired about two vehicles.
Richard replied, and advised me still awaiting for the car to complete its used vehicle prep and will come back to you accordingly. Again I had to remind him, I had enquired about two…
I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN..
Appalling lack of customer care, let alone service… This has certainly put me off from purchasing from this dealership..

Bought a car 5 weeks ago, placed a holding fee down of £100. When I bought the car I asked for it to be taken off the final price. They said it would be easier to just refund. 5 weeks later and I’m still waiting. I have contacted at least 8 times. To begin with I was told it had been processed but needed to wait for it to be authorised. Waited the 3-5 working days, still nothing, contacted again and was told it had to be authorised by a manager, and the manager then did it… apparently. Waited a further 3-5 days. Contacted again was told someone would call back, no one did and as bank holiday weekend I was told to wait until the Tuesday, still nothing refund. Contacted again and was told there was no evidence of the £100 being sent for a holding fee. Obviously I have proof from my bank so have sent it over but absolutely no communication from them and still waiting for my refund.

I traded in my vehicle for a used car and drove away in under 3 hours. My car was valued and my purchase, cleaned, fueled and checked. I was delighted with the fast friendly efficient service. All thanks to Dionne Leigh.

Another great experience buying a new Ford Puma. Danny Randall was, as always, extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable and the whole experience of changing from manual to automatic was easy. Very pleased so far with our new car and loving the quirks such as being able to stand indoors and turn on the heaters and blowers to warm the car up whilst it still being locked.

Multiple issues with this company buying a car.
My story would border on writing a book in this experience.
One thing for sure is aftercare by the Nottingham ford dealership is extremely poor.
From initial contact over purchasing a car to now I would not recommend this company I do actually wonder if they actually check cars before they put them on the forecourt.
Now looking on here they may have an ok score but how many recent reviews are of a similar experience to mine.
11 days since the car was returned not even a courtesy call which was promised by Aaron after raising serious concerns also surrounding an outside company collecting my car from me the 2nd time an witnessing my car being used after 11pm at night by said company because it was not taken straight back to sandicliffe. Again was promised courtesy call to make sure i was happy with rectification work carried out by themselves for the 2nd time after they're own bodyshop didnt get work right the 1st Time.
But nothing even after everything that happened with my car so be cautious buying from them they constantly break they're own promises and that's senior management also.

I was sold a completely bodged car that was NOT road worthy whatsoever, clearly no “AA assured” checks were performed. My car has been written off due to previous damage after only 4 months of ownership, and was sold to me as an undeclared category S! I’ve been without a car now for weeks, having paid in full up front for the car, and I have received no apology, action, or compensation for this from Sandicliffe Loughborough. Do not put your trust in the assurances made.

I have been with Ford for the last 9 year. I have a mobility car and my advisor Maria, is amazing. I went to see her today and she always makes things right.
For all the years I have gone to her she always, looks after me, I see her with other customers and she is 100% dedicated to her customers.
When getting a car on mobility she is the go to person.

So my wife was interested in an MG, EV and wished to take a test drive. On request via E mail to Sandicliffe Lincoln MG for a test drive, they replied re date, time and model? This was replied too but MG did not organise or reply to the answers to their questions. A few days later wife had to chase them up and arrange the test drive. This was done on Sat 21st March at 9.30am. On completion of the test drive it was discussed with the salesman re finance, cash deposit and other financial options. Due to the time she asked if all the information required could be Emailed to her, no problem apparently as this would be done on the Saturday and Emailed.
It is now Mon 23rd March, 1312hrs and still nothing. As such we have no confidence in this showroom and will be looking elsewhere.

Having ordered my car from MG in Leicester and being messed about with delivery dates, i contacted MG Loughborough and wished I'd dealt with them from the start!!
They were so much more helpful and professional. There customer service was outstanding. I will definitely be going back to re new my next car.
My parents also bought their car from Sandicliffe and experienced the same excellent service.
