Well Organised & Paid Quickly
I have had a really positive expereince with Saros. I was emailed a few projects to apply for, after around 6 weeks I was selected for one (I think a lot of this was luck that I fitted the brief). A lady called me to confirm that I would be interested and booked my research for a time that suited.
I completed my research on Google Meet. The interviewer was really friendly and emphasised that there was no right answer. The hour flew over and I was paid my incentive the next day!!
I would not hesitate to do another research topic with Saros and hope I am picked again soon.

Fast payment. Interesting research
I applied for a few projects before i was selected. The lady that called me to book me was friendly and professional. I found the communication from Saros was clear and informative. I was nervous before my online interview but the researcher was kind and put me at ease quickly. I enjoyed the topic and i felt i was able to share my opinion and answer the questions well. I got paid quickly after my research. I hope to be picked again.

Continuous emails from Saros ( Shelly and Alana). I’ve been registered with them for years and not one phone call. I’m also concerned about how my data is being stored by them. I think it’s time to de/ register now that I’ve seen these reviews.

Beware- this is a scam
I filled in a questionnaire about teaching and was advised that there would be a follow up interview and there would be paid for it. I was suspicious when they advised that at the interview, they wanted permission to log onto my computer. I refused as there are numerous security issues here and also for GDPR and what a surprise, I didn’t get a meeting link! I contacted them to ask if there was going to be a meeting, but instead they have sent me another email advising me to fill out yet another questionnaire and that there would be a follow up meeting afterwards paying more than the original amount was supposed to. This feels like a total scam! The company want you you to complete the questionnaire on the promise of payment but it is not forthcoming. I would be be very careful before anybody else fills out the questionnaires. This feels highly illegal!

Good company to work with
I have taken part in several projects with Saros. I have found the recruitment questions easy to answer, good communication with the recruiter and interesting topics for discussion. Let down by being ignored
Had a email to complete an online set of questions for research for Manchester university about a certain health issue. Dutifully completed online questions and was told would receive certain amount of vouchers for time spent answering questions. Not received a penny as of yet. I’ve reached out 4 times one voicemail and 3 emails. Not one person has contacted me about my issue. So if you’re thinking of using this company think again. Poor experience from start to finish. AVOID!!

Easy to get involved
Completed several research opportunities so must have been picked as I fitted the customers brief. Plenty of comms, enjoyed the sessions and meeting new people. Sometimes you get no pre-information on the subject but I assume that's because they want real input/feedback on the spot and not something that's been researched. No problems encountered just wish there was more opportunities available and not a 6-month wait in between.

For years I have had mails from Saros…
For years I have had mails from Saros inviting me to apply for some piece of research. Always have to verify name, email, phone no and various other info. I must have filled in their forms dozens of times. I have never had any response. I must have spent hours on it. A complete waste of time.

Really clunky website full of glitches
Really clunky website full of glitches, questions don't fully appear, takes forever to complete questionnaires if you can at all. Pretty amateurish all in all.

Would love to do it again
Me and my 5yr participated in gaming research. It was great. My child loved it, she was sad that she couldn’t go back to it when it was over. She felt a little unsure answering some questions but that’s just the nature of her age with strangers and we were made to feel very comfortable. Would love to do it again, for my child and for myself as I’m an avid gamer. We were given instructions in plenty of time so I knew (within reason) what was expected. But I’m sure they selected people that were comfortable with tech. I guess that’s what the strict selection process is for though!
