We have had Sash Window Workshop to repair the two bay windows at the front of our house and install double glass in the original Victorian frames. More recently they have repaired two smaller upstairs windows. They are very good. The man who came to measure them was polite and helpful and explained everything and the installers were punctual, rapid and extremely neat and clean in the house. All the windows are working perfectly whereas we had previously had local people whose work only lasted a short while before we were back to jammed windows again. They are not cheap but I think well worth it and the whole process has been utterly painless.

I am delighted with the quality of my replacement window and, in particular, the virtually exact copy of the original non-standard window frame - other companies had told me that they would not be able to make an exact copy. A number of staff were involved in the process from original consultation, drawing up plans, making appointments, payment and installation and, without exception, they were professional, friendly and always helpful.

We have changed a lot of windows (sash and casement) over a 2 year period and are very satisfied with the end result. Great product with good customer service all the way from initial survey to final invoice. All the different workmen on the various jobs have been very easy to have around and have left very little disruption or mess. The new windows make a big difference on noise, temperature, usability and maintenance. Thank you.

Really good experience with Sash Window Workshop. Prompt to make initial and follow up calls. Quotes clear and derailed. Arranged manufacture and fitting quickly. Fitter courteous, on time, did a great job and was extremely clean and tidy - apart from our fabulous new windows you would not have known he had been in the house! How much?????????
I must add to the review below. Since initially placing my negative review of my genuine experience of this company and questioning the validity of the overwhelmingly positive reviews already placed I have been subjected to continuous requests and then demands to alter the review promptly by the Sash Window Workshop including a personal email from the directors. If I don't alter the review the website has now threatened to remove it. The company has tried to argue that as I did not use the service on this occasion then the review does not apply. However I have clearly stated in my review that I chose not to use the service based on my negative experience of the quotation process. I believe the company should be confident in its service from quotation to finished job and not try to remove the reviews it doesn't like.
Review after review of generic reviews... Sentence deleted by reviewer.... A quick Google search will reveal the reality. Ridiculously overpriced. Such a shame as used them years ago and even refered a friend of mine. Best experience today when I spoke to the assistant and said that the quote I'd received for a front door of £4000 was very high and asked if there was anything that could be done. He sent me the updated quote. £4500. No word of a lie. Even in the people in my office were laughing. Great doors but unless you have more money than sense look elsewhere!

After you highlighted concerns regarding the price of the work, our salesman contacted you and you then explained what your budget was. We do hope that you are able to find the right solution to fit your budget with an alternative supplier.
As explained to you, the change in our price since your original quote in November 2015 is primarily due to increased material costs driven by recent exchange rate changes.
We have been manufacturing timber windows and doors using the highest quality materials for over 20 years and many customers have testified to the quality of our product and our customer service, both on Trustpilot and elsewhere.
We can assure you that they are bona fide reviews from our customers, many of whom have stated that they would be happy to provide a reference to other potential customers.

Quality all the way through
I was first impressed by the quality of the windows and the company ethos. We made our decision on that basis. They did not disappoint. There were 2 surveys to check/confirm things, which means they got it exactly right. Their teams were extremely knowledgeable. The ordering/invoicing process was like clockwork and guys who did all the hard work installing the windows were excellect, skilled, professional, efficient, dedicated. They did a great job. Fantastic experience.

Great Customer Service From Start to Finish - Beautiful Windows
The level of Customer Service I received from the Sash Window Workshop was outstanding throughout. Henry, their surveyor, created a positive initial impression and was able to provide us with what we wanted rather than what they could provide. This was a mix of double glazed sliding sash replacements, spiral hung sashes and complete new sliding sash windows, all supplied fully painted.
I visited the factory and was shown around by Richard, the MD. He has clearly put much thought into creating the perfect sash window. He showed me the whole process and convinced me of the benefits and durability of the Accoya wood they use in the manufacture. They select only the finest glass and my new windows display this.
The order and build process was handled smoothly and efficiently and the fitting team of Mark, Paul and Daniel skillfully replaced my 13 windows and a back door in a week. They left the house tidy and secure each night and by the end of the week my house was transformed with gleaming new windows. Slight damage to one sash caused by a protruding nail in an old frame was speedily made good.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent family run company to anyone considering renovating or replacing their sash windows.

Professional company from start to finish.
We decided to employ the Sash Window Workshop to replace our victorian house sash windows after meeting the young salesman who we felt was honest, articulate and a very good listener. We also visited the factory in Bracknell and had a visit from the Managing Director before we made our final decision. We knew the installation of the (11) windows would be disruptive for a week, but we could see that by the end we would be more than happy with the outcome. The carpenters were friendly and approachable and again were good listeners. Everything was completed on time and to a high standard (necessarily as we live in a conservation area).

Showed us round their factory to give us confidence.
Worked with us to get the specification within our budget.

Worked hard, finished quicker than planned and cleaned up afterwards.
Loved the finished work; exceeded our expectations.
