Useful school reviews and comparisons
I found the app really useful when reviewing local schools as part of my daughter’s primary application. I’m not originally from the area where I live and didn’t have any anecdotal experiences from others to draw on. The app helped me understand the various catchment areas, parent feedback, and how each school is performing, as well as allowing me to create comparative reports.
I have recommended this app to other parents and won’t hesitant to do to others in the future.

Gave us confidence in our move to a new area of the UK
This website has been incredibly helpful, well worth the money we spent on our subscription. We are relocating and had very little local knowledge. We were able to base all the house viewings we did on the comparison results we could access through School Guide and have now bought a house near a very good secondary school as a result.
This house choice and move would have been much more difficult without it - thank you for giving us more confidence in our move.

the information they have on this site was invaluable when it came to choosing a school for our daughters. we were moving to a new area so their catchment maps took all the head ache out if choosing where we needed to live to be sure if getting the primary place we wanted

Very Helpful..
We weren’t sure where to start when our daughter was going to secondary school and came across School Guide, we found school websites all sounded the same and couldn’t really compare schools like for like without digging around for it, this really helped us compare everything all in one place and gave us a good flavour of what was available in our area, it was an excellent starting place and found the parent reviews super helpful.

Do not join this subscription! They will ignore all emails to cancel and you will continue to be charged!
Edit- I would also like to add that the company have now claimed that I was not a genuine customer in order to get this review removed, even though I have emails directly from the owner/manager herself. Please avoid at all costs.

We reached out immediately on receiving this negative review and fully refunded your subscription. We were - helpfully - provided your email address by Trustpilot otherwise we would have had no way of contacting you.

We aim to cancel all subscriptions within 48 hours, and this can extend to (maximum) 5 business days during exceptionally busy periods such as secondary school application deadline (on 31 October) when we are assisting parents with urgent questions on school choices. I found it very useful, highly recommend
I found it very useful, and was surprised how well some of the schools had improved. I just saved a £100k on moving house to get into a better catchment. Turns out the current place is just fine!

Exactly what I needed
I was moving to the UK and i needed very detailed information (especially catchment areas) for outstanding schools for my 9 year old twin boys. School Guide was nothing but excellent in providing easy tools and guides to help me navigate the complicated maze of where to live vs goods schools.

Very helpful advice on Bath schools
School Guide provided very helpful advice during our research into Bath schools. As we did not live in the area, it was hard to get a real feel for the schools beyond the websites and admissions staff, who naturally present a positive picture. School Guide gave us the inside story into the pros and cons of each school, which was invaluable. Highly recommended.

Advice on Private Secondary Schools
I had a telephone conversation with a member of the School Guide team and it was extremely helpful! They listened carefully to what my requirements were and made great suggestions about specific schools that would be suitable. They have lots of knowledge about, not only academic success but also, how a school feels. They also gave useful tips about how to go about choosing the right school for my son.
