I was looking forward to trying this place after seeing recommendations but my experience was very disappointing. Firstly it took over three weeks for the items to arrive as they said the first one was damaged in transit but they didn’t notify me I had to chase them to find out what was happening then I was very disappointed with the dates on the marinade’s. I ordered on the 30/03/26 and the expiration date is 05/05/26 these ain’t small tubs and I ordered some cowboy butter powder seasoning which expires in December. They taste okay but no better than from my local butcher.

We have used Scobies for 3 and half years and never had an issue.
We recently got invited to their site to have a tour and some lovely food afterwards.
Other companies also got invited. We got to put on the appropriate PPE and spoke to members of staff from each section. Scobies do allot more then you realise.
After our tour we got to try some of the newer products in a lovely clean kitchen. Let's just say you wont be hungry afterwards. Everything was cooked in front of us as we all discussed businesses and what we use Product wise. It's nice to see they want to work with companies as much as possible. We are looking at gluten free scotch pie recipe so fingers crossed it comes out great.
Overall a very good experience.

Outstanding customer service from a company that actually cares about its customers and keeping them.
My order arrived next day but there was a little problem with what was sent. Phoned customer service (yes actually spoke to a real person), Lynn who was so professional and committed to getting things sorted.
From my initial phone call to Lynn sorting it out took just two hours, now that's proper service.

Shocking customer service and no accountability by staff ! i made an order on the 4th may and paid for next day deliver (cost an extra ten pounds) on the 5th an hour before delivery dpd cancelled the delivery ??? i phoned on the 5th and was told by a male staff member my refund would be processed and back with me in 5 days, as i write this today i still dont have it and the refund wasnt even processed until the 11th as i now find out they have to get the goods back from their own contracted courier dpd before they can possibly issue a refund so they have lied to me direct on the first call, miss informed on the second and only told me about their internal processes which delays my refund on the 3rd call to them, so their own useless contracted courier has delayed my rightful refund from this company , why should a customer have to wait because of thir choice of incompetent couriers.....i still havnt even had an explanation why dpd cancelled as they didnt know on the first call ? AVOID

Couldn't recommend Scobies more! From the products, the blends and the customer service.... I once had a mix up with one of the products I ordered and it was dealt with promptly and effeciently.... nothing is too much trouble for the customer service team they are engaging and funny.

Also the range of gluten free and allergen free products has really expanded our business massively as it has allowed us to attract new customers, who have complete confidence in the products we use.

I have also asked for advice on a product I was thinking of buying, I got a completely honest review not a add sell... I wouldn't shop anywhere else for our butchery needs. Thank You All 😊
